January Favourites

I actually can't believe I'm writing my January Favourites post already. Where has this month gone? Not that I'm complaining because, to be honest, I want these next few months to go by, purely because I'm missing the sunshine. I'm so sick of seeing dull, cloudy weather the majority of the time. Anyway moving on... I've got a mixture of things this month on my favourites list. I didn't do a December Favourites so I guess you could say it's a December/January Favourites really. Here they are...

The Body Shop Vanilla Chai Shower Gel
You may have already read about the Vanilla Chai shower gel in my Boxing Day Haul post. Well since writing that post, I've fallen in love with it even more. I've been having a few on and off kind of days lately and my moods have been all over the place, but getting into my shower or bath and using this has made me feel tons better. It smells really sweet and warming and it's perfect for winter time. Also, I find it very moisturising too.

Cover Shoot Cosmetics Nail Polish Remover Twist Pot
I haven't used one of these in so long. I usually just use a basic bottle of nail polish remover. I picked this up in Poundland and surprisingly it's the best one I've used. It gets rid of stubborn colours so fast and it doesn't smell too overpowering either. Plus it's a good sized one for travelling.

Soap and Glory Glad Hair Day Conditioner
I got this for Christmas and I hadn't really thought of buying it and trying it out myself, if I'm being honest. But I'm glad I've had the chance to try it because I bloody love it! It smells really fresh and fruity and the smell lingers for hours. It leaves my hair feeling so soft and manageable.

Candescent Lip Balms *
I have a blog post coming next week all about Candescent Shop and their lip balms. So I'm not saying much, other than I do really like them!

B&M Tangle Teezer Hair Brush Dupe
I'm not sure what they are actually called as I threw away the packaging but it was only 99p and it's basically a cheaper tangle teezer. Makes my hair feel so much softer and makes it look lovely and shiny too.

The Body Shop Shea Body Butter
I received this free in a order I placed before Christmas because of a promo code that was available. I will admit I don't love the smell of it but I don't hate it either... but because it's one of the most moisturising body butters I've used, I've added it to my January favourites.

Creightons Frizz No More Miracle Serum
I picked this up from B&M a while ago and I've only just really started using it. I think it was around £2. I use this on damp hair and pop it on my mid lengths and ends before blow drying. It makes my hair feel super soft and look lovely and shiny. It smells nice and fresh too!

TIGI Bedhead Styleshots Epic Volume Conditioner

I've been using this on and off for a few years now. I got a new bottle at Christmas and I just love it. It makes my hair look and feels so much better. It gives my hair lots of volume which is definitely needed and it doesn't weigh down my hair. Plus it smells like strawberries and cream. Yum!

Nivea Visage Oil Free Moisturising Day Cream
I always struggle to find a good moisturiser which suits my skin and doesn't break me out loads. But I bought this on a whim because it was in the sale and because the fact that it's oil free. I use this either in the morning or in the evening and it's definitely one of the best moisturisers I've used. I switch between this one and a Garnier one at the minute which I will be talking about soon in a upcoming skincare post.

LUSH It's Raining Men Shower Gel
Something else I received for Christmas... If you have ever used the Shoot For The Stars or Honey Bee Bath bombs, then this shower gel smells exactly like them. If you haven't tried those bath bombs then it smells like honey and toffee together *heart eyes emoji* It's super moisturising and the smell lingers all day. Definitely one of my new favourite LUSH products!

Simple Dual Effect Make Up Remover
This had to be on my January favourites! This is a life saver. It removes my eye makeup in about 2 minutes, I'm not even kidding! All you have to do is shake the bottle (it'll go all bubbly inside) and then pop some on some cotton pads and place over your eyes, whilst moving in small circular motions and it literally just melts away your eye make up. So good! If you'd like to read my full review about it then I'll leave the link here.

Audible / Alan Carr's Alanatomy
So I decided to sign up to Audible when they offered me 3 months for free in November. Basically, I got 1 credit per month to choose any Audible book I wanted to listen to. I tend to pop it on an hour or two before I plan to go to sleep or when I wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep, and it really relaxes me. This month I have been listening to Alan Carr's Alanatomy and it's so funny! It's literally made me laugh out loud in the early hours in the morning. Definitely recommend picking it up in book form or on audible.

So there's my January Favourites!
