Cutting Back On Caffiene | Barley Cup Review

So I'm the kind of person who craves a mug of coffee at 10pm and often gives in. Then I'll be awake until the early hours. I was really interested when I saw that Barley Cup was looking for some bloggers to review their products as they are naturally caffeine free, low in calories, made from natural ingredients and vegan-friendly and also gluten-free, lactose-free and dextrose-free.

Barley Cup is described as a natural alternative to tea or coffee. It is an instant cereal drink which contains roasted barley, rye and chicory.

They sell 4 different jars - With Dandelion, Powder, Organic and Granules.

I received the Barley Cup with Dandelion and also the Organic Jar* to try out and review.

I would say that they both of the drinks taste like a weak coffee (which I personally prefer) and very natural tasting as expected (if that makes sense). The dandelion jar tastes a tad more stronger than the organic. I use 2 teaspoons of the Barley Cup, a teaspoon of sugar and (sometimes) add milk.  I do like both of the flavours I received, I find that they are great to have late at night to stop the urge of reaching for the jar of coffee. Because of the product being caffeine free, it means I won't be up until the early hours regretting having the mug of coffee hours earlier which I seem to do way too often.

Overall I would definitely recommend giving these a try if you're trying to cut back on your caffeine intake or just fancy trying a different hot drink!

You can pick up Barley Cup from Holland & Barrett and also independent heath stores.
