Getting My Nails Spring Ready With The KISS Manicure Kit

So it's almost officially Spring. Yay! Time to break out everything pastel colours, especially the nail polishes! Today I'm writing about the KISS Manicure Kit* which I kindly received from Alex Silver PR to try out and review and also I'm to be showing my favourite nail polishes which I'll be wearing in Spring.

So in order to get my nails Spring ready, they were definitely in need of a manicure. Thankfully because of the KISS Manicure Kit I received, I've got everything I need.

Considering I think I'm quite an organised person, I'm one of those people who has a makeup bag full of nail polishes and my nail tools and I never do anything about it. So I'm always having to dig deep into the bag, trying to find all my tools. But this kit has everything I need in one place.

The Manicure kit includes -

  • Nail Scissors
  • Nail Brush
  • Nail Clippers
  • Cuticle Nipper
  • 4-Way Buffer
  • 3 Emery Boards
  • Cuticle Pusher/Cleaner
  • Double Sided Nail File
  • Double Sided Sapphire Nail File
  • 3 Manicure Sticks
  • It also comes with the handy on the go, clear travel pouch too!

I love the quality of everything that comes with the KISS Manicure Kit and the fact that everything which is metal in the kit is made from stainless steel and is not flimsy and easy to break (I'm very clumsy lol)

I really like the cute little, travel sized nail brush, the cuticle nippers because they are very sturdy and definitely the best ones I've owned. Also, I love the 4-way buffer because the "smooth" side made my nails lovely and shiny a lot quicker than other buffers I've used before.

After using everything I needed to use in the kit, My nails were looking all ready for Spring!

KISS products are available to buy from Superdrug, Boots and Asda.

Spring Inspired Nails:

So even though I have tiny short nails (and I don't really like wearing fake nails) I still like to paint my nails. I think Spring is my favourite month for nail polishes because I find most pastel colours are flattering and easy to wear. Here are my top 5 favourite nail polishes that I will probably wear most in Spring.

The Body Shop Colour Crush Nail Colour - Meet Me At Dusk

If you read my Body Shop Boxing Day Sale Haul then you will have seen this already on my blog. But I love this! It's a nice easy to wear colour and it stays on well fairly well.

Barry M Nail Paint - White
I've seen a lot of people sporting white painted nails lately and I thought I may give it a try in spring because it goes with many colours. I do like this nail polish but because it is white, it is a little streaky and it needs about 3 coats to get a good coverage.

Rimmel Rita Ora - Bestival Blue and Go Wild-er-ness
I was a tad obsessed with these nail polishes from Rimmel last year and I think I'm going to be the same this year. They stay on for so long and they have so many different colours to choose from. I wore these through Spring and Summer last year and I always got complimented and asked what I'm wearing on my nails. Definitely recommend giving them a try.

NYC Shine in a Minute Nail Polish - Statue Of Liberty
I picked this up a while ago from Superdrug but they no longer sell NYC anymore. I think you can still pick up their products in selected Lloyds Pharmacies though. But this is just a pretty, pastel green shade that compliments many other colours and just a perfect spring colour to wear.

Hope you liked this post!
