Natural & Cruelty Free Makeup From Lavera

So I know a lot of people are trying to change their makeup products over to cruelty-free and today's post is all about some products I received to review from Lavera*, which are high quality, natural and cruelty-free but don't break the bank. Also, there's a good selection of Vegan-Friendly products available too. Here's what I thought about the products I received and there's also a swatch of everything at the end.

Lavera Organic Highlighter - 02 Shining Pearl 4g £9.50
I'm usually like my highlighters to be in powder form just because they tend to be easier to work with (and I tend to forget to apply before powdering like you're supposed to do lol) but this highlighter is a cream highlighter. It's quite a mousse-like texture and It's a very pretty pale pink highlighter and really easy to blend. I've been applying it with my finger and just tap it onto my cheekbones but I've also applied it with a damp FoundationBlender to give off a more dewy look too. It also looks really nice at the inner corner of your eyes and on the brow bone. It's a great travel friendly highlighter and I do really like it.

Lavera Natural Liquid Foundation - Ivory Light 01 30ml £12.90
I received the foundation in the lightest shade which is Ivory Light 01. I'll admit when I first swatched this, all I could think was "Oh god, I'm going to look like an Oompa Loompa" but after applying to my face and buffing it in well with my favourite Real Techniques buffing brush, it didn't look as orange. I do struggle all the time to find foundations that are a good shade for my super pale skin and it's a shame that this foundation is quite orange-y considering it's the lightest shade but if it's buffed in well, then it I can definitely get away with it. I would say if you have dry skin (which I do sometimes) it does cling to dry patches/spots a little. But the coverage is really good, I would definitely say it's a medium/high coverage. It's quite thick and creamy but once it's been fully applied, you can't tell you are wearing foundation, which I really like. It also smells lovely!

Overall I do like this product. For me personally, It's one of those foundations that needs a little bit more work to get it right. It would be a great foundation to have in the summer in particular as it's really light weight and does stay in place for about 8-9 hours before needing a retouch. I think I will use this more when I have good skin days so it doesn't cling to any breakouts/dry skin.

Lavera Beautiful Lip Colour Intense - Tender Taupe 30 - 4.5g £11.90
This is a lovely, Spring kind of lipstick. It does look a little different when on than it looks on the stick but it's a pretty everyday shade that I've been wearing a lot since I received it. It's quite sheer and It's very moisturising. It is long lasting and not at all sticky or drying. It basically feels like a lip balm but in a very pretty shade which compliments my pale skin nicely.

Lavera So Fresh Mineral Rouge Powder - Charming Rose 01 - 5g £12.90
Looking at this blusher it does look quite a scary colour to me for a pale girl like me, but it's not at all! It's again really pretty and compliments my pale skin and just give it a healthy look. It's more of a light peachy colour which you will see in the swatches at the end of this post. I love the Lavera Flower logo pattern in the blusher too. It smells similar to the foundation which smells so nice, it's kind of a fresh floral scent.

Overall I've really liked trying out these products I was kindly sent and I do think they are great products and I would recommend them. Also if you order on the Pravera website here you can get free delivery if you spend over £10 (and if you buy 6 items you get 10% off too!).
