5 Ways I Relax After A Stressful Day*

As much as we hate them, we all have to deal with stress filled days, probably a couple times a week at least. Whether it's at work, at home, school or uni, stress will, unfortunately, more than likely always be just around the corner. So today's post is about ways I find work for me when I'm feeling really stressed out.

As much as I'd love this to mean to literally escape after a very stressful day and go jump on a plane, sadly it doesn't. I mean escape as in getting lost in a really good movie or a TV show, maybe with a cup of tea or a glass of wine, depending on how stressed out I really am. I'm currently watching a few things on Netflix including Riverdale, Girl Boss (which I may have binge watched by the time this post goes live lol) and Reign. Whether it be an old favourite TV show/movie or something completely new. It works wonders. If you feel like treating yourself then you can pick up the new sleek and smart looking Ultra HD 4K TV from Panasonic* and literally turn your living room or bedroom into the ultimate cinema experience.  The 65 inch TV has so many features that you literally won't want to leave your house. Some of the features include FreeviewPlay, 3D, 4K PRO Studio Master UHDHome Screen 2 powered by Firefox OS & Voice Assistant, VR-Audio Master 2.1 Surround, plus so much more!

Another one of my favourite things to do when I'm feeling really stressed out is to have a little at home spa-like pamper session. I find an LUSH bath, a couple of my favourite candles lit and a face mask is definitely a great way to de-stress in the comfort of my own home. I highly recommend the Twilight range from LUSH including the shower gel and bath bomb if you've got a lot on your mind as it contains Lavender, Tonka and Ylang Ylang. Also Dream Cream is fab too and it personally helps me to sleep.

I'm not going to lie, online shopping can make me more stressful, especially when the likes of ASOS and New Look don't take down items when they've sold out. I'm not the only one who finds this so incredibly annoying, right? But if you do manage to get your hands on something new (and if it's in the sale then even better. Woo!) then online shopping is something I find does help a lot, my bank account would say otherwise though.

I think this is something that might work for some people because planning can sometimes be a stressful but once you've planned something exciting then it'll put you in a better mood. So that's something else that I like to do when I'm feeling really stressed or just low in general. Also making lists helps me when I'm feeling anxious too, which I think I've mentioned in a blog post before too. I love writing any exciting plans inside My Personal Planner which I was kindly sent, as well as anything blog related too, including my "blog schedule" and any sponsored posts etc.

I wouldn't say this is a something you have to do, but if you feel like it then a walk is a good idea, just to get some fresh air and take in what's going on around. Obviously, as I live in the UK and literally just yesterday at the end of April (when I'm writing this) we had snow, yes really... snow. So I think taking a walk is something to do when it's nicer weather for me personally. I do love April/May but the temperamental weather is very annoying.

  4. Going for a walk is such a good way to relax and clear your mind, especially when it's Spring time and the weather is a little nicer. I'm really enjoying a good session of Netflix lately!

  5. I definitely agree with your first point. Theres nothing i love more in the evening after a long day than escaping into another world (tv show) and forgetting about your life for awhile!
