5 Ways To Get Your Hair Looking Fuller & Healthier *

Most of my life my hair seemed to be pretty thick and full of volume and all of a sudden back in 2013 it seemed to thin out and go flat at the roots and frizzy everywhere else. Attractive I know. I honestly blame stress as it happened around the same time a lot of things were going on in my life and it's just never got any thicker. Thankfully since then, I have found some ways which definitely help to make my hair look fuller and healthier in general.

When I blow dry my hair I find that drying it with my head tipped upside helps to create volume at the roots and it's probably the easiest foolproof way to add volume, whilst it may not be comfortable to do, it definitely works. As well as using some sort of heat protectant spray, I like to add some sort of volume enhancing product before blow drying too. Right now I'm loving the Lee Stafford Air (or Blast) Dry Foam because it's not a sticky and it smells so nice and it does the job very well.

If tipping your head upside doesn't sound very inviting or comfortable then using a large roll brush at the roots also works too. For quickness, I like to work in three sections and I find that it doesn't look too done up as I do personally like my hair to look a little lived in and have some sort of texture and movement going on.

For smoothing out my hair and just making it look less frizzy and more healthier I've recently discovered and totally fallen in love with the Mane n Tail Detangler Spray* which is literally the first detangling spray which has worked properly for my hair and it really smoothes out my hair. For adding a healthy shine I also use Lee Stafford Oil* to my mid-lengths and ends which smells lovely and gives a nice natural shine.

I also like using Dry Shampoo in my roots even when it's clean and just washed because it works well as a texturizing spray and it doesn't leave any stickiness which I've found with some texturizing sprays. Plus another good thing is that I can pick up Batiste in different scents so I can change it up a little sometimes too.

If you want to opt for a more permanent option then you could look into Advanced Tricho Pigmentation Treatment which is one of the hair transplant services offered at Harley Street Hair Clinic. The treatment can be done on both your scalp and also eyebrows to replicate the appearance of hair follicles to give the illusion of real hair. They also offer both semi-permanent and permanent options so they cater for all.

How do you make your hair look the best it can?

  2. I have ridiculously thin hair and it's a total nightmare to get it looking thick and healthy. Dry shampoo and blow drying it upside down have worked wonders for me as well though :) Great post!
