Things I've Been Loving Over The Past Month Or So

I'm finally getting around to writing a favourites post (woo!) I literally haven't done a favourites since November, yep really - oops. But over the past few months I've definitely had a selection of go-to products which I've been loving. I'll even go as far to say that I've found a few holy grail products too. So I thought it was about time I'd share them with you.

Mane 'N Tail Detangler Spray*
Normally detangling sprays don't work for me so when I received this I'll be honest I didn't really have high hopes for it. But I'm not exaggerating when I say that this has been my favourite hair product over the past two months. I've been telling everyone about it because it's impressed me that much. I also quite like the smell and the fact that it comes in a huge bottle, it's not the best for travelling but hey, nevermind. If your hair gets knotted up really easily or if you wear your hair in a messy bun often like myself and have to deal with bun hair then you need this in your life asap.

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser

If you saw my recent Glossier Haul then you would've seen that I picked up the much talked about Milky Jelly Cleanser and I bloody love it. Considering my skin is quite oily and angry most of the time, this has been really nice and gentle and I've discovered that using a gentle cleanser and using a spot treatment is enough for my skin and that I don't need to douse my skin in my tea tree cleanser every single day. I also love that it smells like roses and it doesn't feel like it's stripping my skin after using it. One thing I will say is that it's not that great at removing makeup but I think even if it was, I would prefer it as a second cleanse because it is pricey at £15 a bottle.

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Oils in Rustling Rose* and Whispering Orchid*

I love these so much, they are perfect for the colder weather if you're suffering with chapped lips. They kind of look like a lip gloss when on but look more like a sheen and the formula isn't sticky at all. I think Rustling Rose is my favourite but I'm definitely going to have to pick up some more of the others available.

LUSH Dirty Springwash Shower Gel

I got this for Christmas and I'm obsessed. I'm a huge fan of minty scents but this isn't your typical peppermint chewing gum scent if that makes sense. Because it contains spearmint and thyme it's such a good shower gel to use first thing in the morning and I'm considering buying the perfume very soon because I just love it.

Colourpop Super Shock Highlighter in Lunch Money

After seeing so much hype about these Super Shock Highlighters I decided to cave and get Lunch Money. It's more of a light golden sheen but the formula is so weird, it's like a powder-cream and it's quite bouncy in the packaging. I've been applying it with my fingers and tapping it into my skin just because It's easier to work with that way and it gives such a nice healthy looking glow.

Missguided Babe Power EDP*

My go-to perfumes tend to change frequently but I've been loving this Missguided Babe Power, it's such an unusual scent and I also just love the unique can packaging. I can't even describe the scent but it contains a mixture of different things including - pink pepper, crisp apple, rhubarb, orange blossom, peony, vanilla, candy floss and more. If you a fan of sweet perfumes then you will love it.

Lottie London Arch Rival Brow Pencil

I really wanted to try the Benefit Precisely My Brow but I thought it was quite pricey for what it is and I wasn't sure if I'd even get along with it so I decided to look for something similar which was cheaper. I came across the Arch Rival Brow Pencil and it's honestly been a game changer. Doing my brows is so easy with this and I tend to throw on my Glossier Boy Brow over the top just to deepen my brows a little and to obviously keep them in place for the day and I'm done.

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette in Beauty Glow

So I treated myself to my first ever Charlotte Tilbury product for Christmas and it's literally one of - if not the best makeup product I've ever bought. I use every single product in the palette but I do wish that the darker blusher was slightly lighter because it's a little too deep for my skin tone but I'm hoping I'll be able to get away with it more in the Summer. The bronzer and highlighter are the same from the Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette and the highlighter is stunning and I love that you can use it for a more natural look or you can build it up to a full-on glazed donut look. The bronzer is lovely and I like that it's a bronzer you have to build for full effect because it works better for my pale complexion. (I also have a code to get £15 off your order here).

  2. I've heard so many good things about Mane 'N Tale, and I love the sound of that detangle spray! The . ColourPop highlighters are so good too! Totally agree that the formula is strange, as it definitely looks best applied with your fingers xx
