My Go-To Easy To Use Makeup Picks

When the warmer weather comes around I prefer to wear minimal makeup which is super quick and easy to apply. I've definitely found some go-to products which are perfect for the Summer because they are so easy to wear and don't feel too heavy on my skin, which is literally one of the worst feelings in the Summer, isn't it? So here's are some products which I love and will be using throughout Summer...

I know I'm always going on about how much I love the Glossier Cloud Paints but they really are great. They just make my skin look healthy and fresh faced within seconds I also sometimes use them on my lids too, just to add a touch of colour. My favourite shades are Dusk - a peach brown and Puff - a fresh faced pink.

I’ve recently fallen in love with the Stila Convertible Colour in shade Dahlia*. I love how you can use it both on your cheeks and lips and also how it's a perfect size to pop in your bag when you're on the go.

For quick coverage I really like the Revolution Foundation Stick. Although I’m not sure how it will hold up when it gets really hot with it being quite a dewy, creamy foundation, I’m definitely hoping I can get away with it.

I've also recently picked up the Barry M All Night Long Concealer in the shade Milk after seeing a few fellow bloggers talk about it and I really like it. I actually prefer it to the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer as I find that it doesn't change colour slightly throughout the day and it's also a bit better coverage wise too. I've also worn the concealer on it's own as a bare minimal base and it worked well.

After lusting after the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand for literally months, I caved and bought it back in February and I just love it. It gives you a lit from within glow (similar to the highlighter in the Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette). You only have to use the tiniest amount to get a gorgeous healthy glow too.

Glossier Boy Brow over the top of the Lottie London Arch Rival Brow Pencil has been my go-to brow duo over the past few months. They work so well together and the Boy Brow just keeps everything in place all day.

I recently picked up one of the Collection Glam Crystals Liquid Eyeshadows in the shade Divine just to see if they were any good and they are! It's definitely quenched my urge to buy the Glossier Lidstars which I've seen mixed reviews about, which is great for my bank balance lol. You can wear the Glam Crystals Eyeshadows on their own or over the top of another eyeshadow. I've mainly been wearing mine on it's own just to add a touch of colour.

When I saw the Essence 3D Dewy Stick I just had to buy it. It offers a glow without any glitter or shimmer, which I really liked the sound of! Because it's enriched with Shea Butter it gives you a glow but doesn't leave a horrible greasy film behind. It's very pretty and blends out really nicely. If you're a fan of the whole "wet look highlighter" then you will love this and it definitely doesn't break the bank at £3.50. It's quite similar to the Glossier Haloscope in my opinion too.
