Crystal Healing | Does It Work? My Experience So Far...

So back in May I decided to try out Crystal Healing and see if it actually works. I've always been a fan of crystals since I was a young girl and I'm always buying the odd one here for decor purposes, not for healing or anything like that. But one night whilst I couldn't sleep, I don't know what made me think about it, but all of a sudden I wanted to try out crystal healing, kinda weird, right? Anyway, the next thing I knew I had bought quite a few tumble crystals and stones, watched a bunch of Youtube videos about it and also picked up a few books too. It's now been about two months since I started crystal healing and I thought I would write a blog post about whether I think it actually works or if I think it's a load of mumbo jumbo.

So why have I been trying Crystal Healing?
Basically I've pretty much been ill all of this year, I'm currently dealing with a lower back problem which I've had since January as well as unexplained stomach pain/discomfort and also pelvic pain and I've been dealing with them all every single day. So it's safe to say that this year has been pretty miserable for me. After many tests and many visits to the doctors they still don’t know what’s wrong with me and they won’t prescribe me any sort of pain relief because they don’t know what the sole cause is and it could make it worse, the pills they gave me for my stomach discomfort made me feel worse, paracetamol are useless, co-codamol makes me feel more bloated and gross and I can't take any anti-inflammatory pain relief because the lining of my stomach is apparently inflamed so I’ve now finally been referred to hospital for an ultrasound (only 4 months later...) as well as physio for my back which may be weak muscles and/or a trapped nerve. I’m now waiting for the letters to come to tell me when my appointments are, oh the joy. I must admit I'm grateful of the NHS here in the UK but my god, they certainly know how to fob you off and then make you wait for appointments when the problem isn't going away by itself.

Anyway because of all of the above health problems I've been trying out crystal healing since around the middle of May, I picked up quite a few different tumble crystals but I've only been using the ones I feel more of a pull towards including - Moonstone, Rose Quartz, Smokey Quartz and also Peacock Ore (Bornite). I've mainly been using the stones which promote healing and pain relief in the stomach and pelvic area and I've also been using the Peacock Ore which is basically a uplifting stone and promotes positive thinking and creativity because obviously being unwell and worrying about what is wrong with me has been giving me such bad brain fog, hence why I haven't been putting out as many blog posts lately.

I have noticed since using my Moonstone and Rose Quartz even just by holding them whilst I'm lying in bed watching TV or a film at night, I tend to feel slightly less pain the next day, particularly if I'm having a bad pain day. My stomach and pelvic pains pretty much completely went away for 5 days last week and I thought it was finally going but unfortunately, it's come back again (yay, not). I was literally prepared to throw a party and everything but no, my body clearly hates me.

So overall I'd say my experience so far has been good, no, it's not cured my health problems but I'm pretty sure it helps to ease some of the pain and discomfort and I'm totally happy with that whilst I'm waiting on finding out what's actually going on with my body. I'd definitely say give it a try if it's something you're debating on trying out, the tumble crystals which I buy on Ebay are super cheap around £1-£3 each so it's not going to break the bank either.

  1. I've never used crystals or any kind of healing like this but I do believe in people finding and doing whatever works (within reason obviously). If crystals work for you then that's wonderful. And for the price, it's worth a try.

I hope your problems are sorted soon!
