My Thoughts On Cruelty-Free And Vegan Friendly Design.Me Hair

I’ve been seeing the cruelty-free and vegan friendly Design.Me Hair range floating about recently particularly on my insta feed. I love the bright, eye catching packaging and that they offer products which are little different and unique to the usual hair products currently on the shelves in stores like Superdrug or Boots.

Over the past few months I’ve accumulated a lot of new hair products as I’m trying to find some new staple products which are easy to pick up and aren’t too expensive and Design.Me definitely fall into that range as all of their products are under the £15 mark which I’m happy to pay if the product does what it says on the tin (or bottle, you know what I mean...)

The Puff.Me Volumising Powder Spray* is definitely the product I was most excited to try out because it’s a volumising powder spray which you spray into your roots and rub in to add instant volume. Genius! My hair is basically everything you don't want - it's pretty fine but frizzy and I find it hard to get a good amount of volume without having to put in a lot of effort, so obviously this sounded like it was going to be a blessing. I will admit it does feel a little tacky/sticky if you use a little too much so the best idea is go in with one pump at a time and see how it looks and feels but you definitely don’t need a lot of product to get your hair full of volume. It literally takes less than 5 minutes and it’s easy to brush out at the end of the day too.

When you see a product that claims it will cut the time you spend blow drying your hair in half, you’re automatically intrigued, right? So when I saw the Power.Me Blowdry Spray* I was obviously excited to try it out. It says that it’s best used on damp hair to get the best outcome, which is how I’ve been using it and guess what? It actually does work! Although my hair is quite fine and frizzy, it does take a while to dry which is kind of weird but this has definitely taken some time off drying my hair which is great if you hate blow drying your hair like me.

Lastly is the Fab.Me Conditioning & Detangling Treatment Spray*. I’ll be honest I don’t love the scent of Fab.Me but it does seem to detangle and smooth my hair when I’m sporting my wild crazed bedhead birds nest hairstyle which is a task to tackle and sort out most days. But I do have another detangling spray which I favour over this one which is the Mane n Tail Detangling Spray, I just find it works better for me personally.
