Getting My Skin Prepared For Autumn At Chemist.co.uk

Around this time of the year during the transition between Summer and Autumn I always notice a change in my skin as soon as the weather starts to get cooler and when there’s more of a nip in the air first thing in the morning. I tend to start picking up skin and body care products to makes sure I’m well prepared. This year I have picked up some products to help me battle the Autumn and Winter months from chemist.co.uk so in this post I’m going to be talking about what products I got and my thoughts so far.

I’ve been wanting to try Indeed Labs for a while now, so when I saw some of their products available on chemist.co.uk at a cheaper price than Boots I had to pick up a few products from them. I decided on the Hydraluron Moisture Jelly* and the Nanoblur Instant Skin Finisher*. The Hydraluron Moisture Jelly is a lighter version of their best seller Hydraluron Moisture Booster Serum (which is also available on the website) but because I have combination skin leaning more towards an oilier skin type I decided on the thinner and lighter option. It definitely moisturises my skin without feeling super heavy and it’s also very cooling on the skin in a nice way too. The Nanoblur Instant Skin Finisher is like a skin perfecting cream which is great for no makeup days and it also works pretty well as a primer underneath makeup too. I’m a fan of the quirky packaging of both too, especially the Hydraluron Moisture Jelly.

I love the Argan Oil Foot Packs* which I tend to pick up from various different shops throughout the whole year. I wanted to include them in this post as they are one of my go-to things to use to moisturise my feet. If you don’t know what they are then they are basically plastic socks with plenty of moisturiser inside but they work really well. They are great if you’ve been on your feet all day as they are really cooling and refreshing and obviously hydrating too. Another great way to keep your feet nice and hydrated is by using Moisturising Socks* when I saw the title "Moisturising Socks" on the ones I bought, I initially thought they were the socks which you use with your own moisturiser and pop them on at night to get super soft feet. But I actually misread the description and the moisturising socks I picked up are basically the same at the Argan Oil Foot Packs but a with a different scent, which is fine anyway I'll use them no matter what and they were only £1.25.

I did pick up the Dr. Paw Paw Shea Butter Balm* which I have used before but not in the Shea Butter version. Unfortunately, because I'm some clumsy I managed to basically rip it completely open so I’ve had to throw it in the bin. But I have used other versions of the Dr. Paw Paw balms and I am a huge fan, especially during the cooler months. You can use them as lip balm, cuticle balm and even as a highlighter to give a fresh glow. The one I have in the photo above is the Original non-scented version which I tend to pick up most often, it's available on the site as well as other options too. Talking about balms, lip balm is an obvious essential for everyone throughout the year especially during the colder months. So when I saw the Lipsmacker Fanta Strawberry Lip Balm* I had to pick up it as I’ve never seen or heard of it before. I usually buy Burt's Bees lip balms just because they are affordable and there's lots of different ones to choose from but I thought I'd try the Fanta one as it's a little different to what I usually buy and it was also really cheap at £1.59.
