A Beauty Wishlist

Even though I know I own more makeup and skincare than I really need, after recently having a sort out and getting rid of things I don't use or like, I’ve been looking at some products I’m interested in buying or maybe even adding to my Christmas list as well as some products which I feel I’m missing in my beauty stash. So here are a selection of products I’ve currently got my eyes on right now.

1. Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer £13 / 2. It Cosmetics Oil-Free Matte CC Cream £30 / 3. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked £69 / 4. Clean Reserve Blonde Rose EDP £82

The Physician's Formula Butter Bronzer is something a lot of people rave about, particularly people with fairer skin, like myself. I'm definitely in the market for a new bronzer as the one I've been using over the past few months has all of a sudden started looking a little muddy on my skin which is strange.

The It Cosmetics Oil-Free Matte CC Cream is something I've been debating on buying for a while as everyone and their mum seems to talk about it. But I do think it is pretty pricey for a CC Cream, I tend to spend around the £30 mark on a high-end medium-full coverage foundation like the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation which is my fave high end foundation and I'm happy with that but for something that's only going to give a light-medium coverage I'm just not sure about it. I think it's something I'm going to be popping on my Christmas list.

The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked looks so nice and has a good array of shades inside. I really like that you've got the majority of your makeup in just one palette and everyone seems to talk about how good Hourglass are and I'm yet to try anything from them yet.

I keep seeing Clean Reserve on my insta feed and not only do I love the simple but still elegant packaging, I love the sound of their Blonde Rose scent in particular. It sounds like it's been made for me as it contains notes of rose, jasmine, peony with a base of cedar wood, sandalwood and musk and I literally love all of those scents. It also sounds like a perfect scent to wear during Autumn and Winter.

5. OGX Restoring Bonding Plex Shampoo/Conditioner £7.99 each / 6. Pixi Pixiglow Cake in Glided Bare £24 / 7. Sanctuary One Minute Daily Glow Mask £14 / 8. Too Faced Peach My Cheeks Blush £25

I've seen the OGX hype on insta lately and I really like the sound of their latest range which is the Restoring Bonding Plex Shampoo/Conditioner. I'm definitely going to pick them both up soon but I'm just using up some other shampoo and conditioners in my bathroom first.

If you read my blog often or follow me on instagram then you'll already know how much I love Pixi. They've recently released some new makeup products and I love the look of their new Pixiglow Cake in Glided Bare which is kind of a blush and highlighter in one. I'd probably just mix all of the shades together and apply to give me a glowy flush of colour.

I've recently been sent a sample of the Sanctuary One Minute Daily Glow Mask and it actually works so well and makes your skin look refreshed and healthy which is definitely what I need in my life right now as being unwell constantly for almost 7 months has definitely taken it's toll on my skin. It also smells really nice too and it would be great for days when I want to have a bit of a pamper but I'm in too much pain to keep going backwards and forwards into the bathroom to remove a face mask.

The Too Face Peach My Cheeks Blushers look so cute, I'll admit the packaging is what pulls me in the most with them as I usually opt for powder blushers over cream (except for my holy grail Glossier Cloud Paints). They have a cream to powder formula which I find pretty interesting too. If I don't pick one up in the meantime then I am definitely popping one of them on my Christmas list.

9. L’OrĂ©al Chocolats Matte Liquid Lipstick in Bittersweet £8.99 / 10. Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eyeshadow Palette £39 / 11. Too Faced Born This Way Multi-Use Concealer £24 / 12. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light £42

I'll admit when I watched one of Soph Does Nails makeup testing videos and she tried one of the new L'Oreal Chocolats Matte Liquid Lipsticks and said it smelled exactly like a Galaxy chocolate bar, I was sold. Who doesn't look a lipstick that smells like that? So I'm probably going to pick one up and try one for myself soon.

I think it's obvious why the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eyeshadow Palette has made my wishlist, isn't it? *heart eyes*. I'm such a huge fan of Charlotte Tilbury and her products and Pillow Talk is one of my go-to daily lipsticks so I'm obviously going to want the matching eyeshadow palette.

I love the sound of the new Too Faced Born This Way Multi-Use Concealer, especially as of lately when I do wear makeup I tend to just opt for either a very light coverage of foundation or just a concealer on it's own as my base and I know the Too Faced Foundation has good coverage and suits my skin type too.

Lastly is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light which is something I've wanted for literally ages. It's a very pretty highlighter which is on the subtle, natural side which I usually prefer. It looks like it would be great for a minimal, natural makeup look just to add a healthy glow.

  1. I have the IT Cosmetics CC cream in the oil-free version and I LOVE it. Well worth the price tag in my opinion!
