LQ Liquid Health Skin, Hair & Nails Supplements | Do They Actually Work?

I'm not going to lie, I've tried a few supplement type of products to help with my skin and hair growth before and some have worked but most didn't really do much of anything so I am a little bit on the fence with them. But I'm always up for improving my skin, hair and nails (even though I've found something which really helps me to grow my nails and stop biting them and I featured it here). For 10 days I've been having one bottle of LQ Liquid Health Hair, Skin and Nails Supplements* which contains all the "good stuff" if you like. Each bottle is jam packed with 9 key active ingredients; Marine Collagren (7000mg to be exact), Silicon, Resveratrol, Biotin, Selenium, Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E. So now I've finished taking it for 10 consecutive days, I thought it was about time I'd share my overall thoughts and experience.

I'll admit right away, I'm not too keen on the taste but because it's only once a day it didn't bother me much once I got to around Day 3 of taking the supplements. It taste kind of like marine-blackcurrant if that even makes sense. It's a very weird taste. It's not absolutely disgusting but it's not something you'd want to be drinking daily.

By day 4 I started to notice a little change in my hair, I haven't used or tried any different products while trying these supplements too so I know it wasn't anything different making my hair seem slightly more full. My hair usually need a ton of backcombing/backbrushing before it looks like it has any volume, so getting out of bed and looking in the mirror to see my hair looking a little fuller on it's own was odd but a good sign nonetheless.

I'm writing this the day after taking my last supplements and I've got to say I do think that LQ Liquid Health Skin, Hair and Nail Supplements do work. No, they aren't miracle workers and I'm not too fond of the taste, but my hair and skin has definitely improved slightly. My nails are growing better in general after discovering SensatioNail kit so I can't say 100% if the supplement helped my nails really but they are growing quicker than usual and don't break as easy.

I think if you're feeling like your skin or hair is getting you down or if you've got a big event coming up - i.e a prom, a wedding, a special party and you want to give your body a bit of a booster then I would say give these a whirl and see if they work for you too. You can buy them at Boots and Holland and Barrett for £30.
