A Beauty Gift Guide *

Even though I have a gift guide coming up with some main gifts and stocking filler ideas which includes some beauty products, I thought I would do a beauty focused gift guide as well, just because beauty is kind of my main focus on my blog and I know a lot of people come to my blog to read the beauty content. So here are some beauty gift ideas ranging from affordable to more of a luxury price tag.

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette £49
If someone in your life is thinking about branching out and trying some high end makeup brands then I'd highly recommend the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette priced at £49. It would give the person you're buying for a good selection of Charlotte Tilbury's products to try as the palette includes 3 eye shadows, 2 blushers and the famous Hollywood Bronze & Glow duo. It's honestly one of my all time favourite makeup products and I love using it and it's always creeping into my blog photos often too.

The Beauty Boulevard Diamond Lip Glosses £9.50 come in a unique looking packaging which will also throw off what the gift is when it's all wrapped up too. I think they would make great little stocking fillers and because they are quite sparkly and pretty, they're great for the party season. They contain light reflecting pigments for a 3D finish and also have an non-sticky formula. There's currently two shades to choose from - Embellish and Adorn and they can be worn alone or over the top of your fave lipstick.

Korres Little Stars Shower Gel Collection £10*
I think the Korres Little Stars Shower Gel Collection is such a cute gift. The bottles are 40ml so perfect to try out and also good for someone who travels often. I think the scents are pretty unisex too; Bergamot Pear, Fig, Lavender Blossom and Bergamot Jasmine. For £10 I think it's a little bargain which is definitely worth snapping up whether it's for yourself as a little treat or as a gift for someone.

Glossier YOU EDP £45 for 50ml
The reason why I've added Glossier YOU EDP to this list is because it's a scent which "adapts to you" which is why I thought it might be a good perfume for a gift guide and it's also one of my favourite perfumes. The bottle is quite cute with the light pink bottle and red lid and it even has a little indent in the bottle so you can hold it properly. It also comes in a nice presentable box, so if you have a Glossier lover in your life then this may be a perfect purchase! (You can also get 10% off and free delivery using my code). - aff link.

If you're planning on buying more of a luxury beauty item for someone then you may be interested in a Skin Pearls Bundle RRP £154. The unique skincare bundle contains four jars (each containing one months supply) and you can choose a bundle which is suitable for your recipient's skin type. You can choose from Problematic, Sensitive, Dry, Brightening, Anti-Ageing, Anti-Acne, Mature - so there's something for everyone. I have been using the Combination bundle which contains a jar for your eyes to address puffiness and dark circles, as well as firming the skin and reducing fine lines. The directions say to use one pearl per eye and crush the pearl in the palm of your hand and then use the crushed pearl under eye and apply gentle pressure when applying. The "Treat" jar is the skin type appropriate jar so in my case I've been using the Problematic (purple) pearls and I've been using the pearls on my problem areas which is mainly my T-zone right now.The next step is the SPF to moisturise and protect your skin. The SPF pearls are SPF 30 and you apply one pearl per use which I think is great. Lastly, is the Overnight Facial jar which after cleansing in the evening you crush one pearl and apply and massage gently over your skin until it's absorbed and it's just like adding an extra bit of TLC for your skin whilst you sleep.

Using the Skin Pearls bundle has already made a difference within a few days of use and it's definitely helped my skin out which has been suffering from a bad hormonal breakout. It's really taken down the angry inflammation and just calmed my skin down a lot. I also love that the shimmer of the pearls gives you a nice, healthy glow on your skin.

In the combination bundle each skin repairing pearl is infused with Centella Asiatica, Grape Peel and pure Caviar extracts in conjunction with a conditioning Peptide and precious Pearl. The Peptide provides an anti-ageing aspect for those with problematic skin too, so you're essentially getting a 2-in-1 product. For best results Skin Pearls recommend using all four products in your chosen skincare bundle together to get the best results.

Every Christmas without fail I buy a couple of gift sets from Baylis & Harding because they are always great quality for the price and their gifting ranges always look so pretty and they cater for everyone. I think the Beauticology Bath Fizzers Set would make a great stocking filler because who doesn't love bath fizzers? You can pick up the bath fizzers in various different scents but the one in the photo contains two different scents which are: Strawberry Buttercream Cupcake and White Chocolate Cheesecake. Yum!  I also wanted to include the Baylis & Harding Hand Wash Set because I think it looks more expensive than what it really is and I love that the scents are Christmassy scents. The hand wash being Frosted Christmas Tree scented and the Hand and Body Lotion being Mulberry and Mistletoe scented. I think the Hand Wash set would be a great gift for your mum, nan, aunt and etc. I just think that Baylis & Harding are such a great brand to go to if you're on a budget but still want to get something that looks great on the side of your bath and smells lovely too.

If you know someone who loves skincare then I'd highly recommend the Sensse Silicone Facial Cleansing Brush £39.99*. It's basically as described, it's a cleansing brush which really makes your skin glow. It's a cheaper version of the FOREO cleansing brush range and it does just as good a job. I've found that the Sensse Cleansing Brush has also helped my skin when it's acting up and it also looks cute on my bathroom cabinet shelf.

Knowing someone's go-to beauty essentials really comes in handy at Christmas and helps to save them money. Knowing what their favourite mascara, foundation, fake nails or lashes are is great if you're making a beauty bundle or beauty hamper styled gift. You could pick up some festive looking nails or party lashes just to make it more special and season appropriate. Kiss have some gorgeous nails and lashes suitable for the party season including the Kiss Gel Fantasy in Fanciful £7.99* and Kiss imPRESS nails in Symphony £7.99* or Kiss Lash Couture in Bustier from the Triple Push-Up Collection £7.99* and Kiss Lash Couture in Splendor from the 5th Avenue Collection*.

Burt's Bees know how to do Christmas gifting and their products are amazing in general anyway but their gifting always hits the nail of the head. The packaging is always lovely and eye-catching without going too overboard. So I had to feature some of their gifts in this post. For any skincare lover (like myself) then the Burt's Bees Face Essentials Set RRP £19.99* would be the perfect gift - it includes their Bark & Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream, Peach & Willow Bark Deep Pore Scrub, Coconut & Pear Lip Balm (my fave!) and also Facial Cleansing Towelette with White Tea Extract. I also love the Burt's Bees Get the Look Gift Set RRP £14.99* which comes in a little book-like box which you could reuse. Inside it has one of their Satin Lipsticks and also a Tinted Lip Balm (shades vary).

The Hair Secretz Hair Podz Diamond Hair Brush £9.99* is a great for someone who likes to pop an hairbrush in their handbag when they're on the go. It's not just an hairbrush either, it opens up and inside it has a mirror and a little area to store things including hairbands, hair clips and more. To make it more unique it comes with it's own Swarvoski crystal on the front too - fancy! I also like that it's in an diamond shape as it's so easy to hold as I do find Tangle Teezers quite awkward to hold so I think this will be a new favourite. It's available in three different colours - Powder Pink, Cherry Red and Sugar White.
