Trying Out Gluten Free, Gourmet Popcorn from Popcorn Shed!

You may have seen on my insta stories that I was sent a ton of popcorn from Popcorn Shed about a month or so ago and it's taken this long to get around trying them all out. I'm pretty sure they sent me every flavour they have available. So I thought I would tell you more about the brand and also which of the popcorn flavours I liked the most!
Popcorn Shed are an gluten-free award winning brand and offer premium quality, handcrafted popcorn which is made with all natural ingredients which come in bags and their cute "shed" boxes which are perfect if you want to gift their popcorn to someone.

So what delicious flavours do they currently have?

Salted Caramel is described as salted caramel with milk chocolate and toffee, Pecan Pie is described as caramel with roasted pecans and toffee gourmet, Pop n Choc is chocolate and caramel coated popcorn, Butterly Nuts is described as peanut butter and caramel covered popcorn with peanuts, Berry-licious is a caramel and raspberry gourmet popcorn mix with a dark chocolate coating, Say Cheese! is a cheddar cheese flavoured popcorn and Sweet Cheesus is a mix of cheddar cheese and caramel. I like that there is an array of different flavours and something for everyone.

Me and my family enjoyed trying all of the flavours out over Christmas whilst watching the (mainly) festive movies. In the end we all had a different "top three" from the flavours we tried haha. My favourite three flavours were definitely Sweet Cheesus, Pop n Choc and Berry-licious!

I'm a fan of caramel and cheese and the Sweet Cheesus flavour is literally both of them combined and also has an almost smoky taste too, which I like. So yummy! It's made from real cheddar cheese and sweet, buttery caramel. It's extremely moreish which is kind of a problem but hey, at least they are pretty low in calories.

I already knew when I saw the Pop n Choc flavour that it would make it onto my top three favourites list because hello, chocolate popcorn! I have an extremely sweet tooth so the Pop n Choc flavour definitely made my sweet tooth very happy. It's quite a strong chocolate taste which is infused with caramel and I know some people may not like the sound of that but I personally love it. The more chocolate the better in my opinion.

Berry-licious was one which surprised me. I'm not a massive fan of berries in general food-wise but I thought I'd try the Berry-licious flavour anyway and I actually loved it. Their website describes the popcorn as being lightly coated with Raspberry flavoured caramel (yum!) and real freeze dried raspberries and then coated in dark chocolate too. I think the dark chocolate definitely makes the Berry-licious flavour taste, I wouldn't have personally thought to pick these up in a shop because I would've thought berries and dark chocolate would be too bitter for me but it wasn't as bitter as I thought it would be.

Also because my body basically hates me and since becoming unwell, certain foods and brands in general actually set off either my gastritis or my chronic pain (mad, I know). So it's great that I've found another brand that I know I can buy and it doesn't upset my body and makes it angry at me which is kind of makes me want to throw a mini party because it's so annoying not being able to eat a lot of my favourite foods or brands in general.

If you fancy trying these out for yourself or picking up a box or jar as a gift then you can buy Popcorn Shed products at Ocado, Superdrug, Not On The High Street, Superdrug, Amazon, Harrods and more.
