Looking For A Lovely Gift For Mother's Day? | Rosina's Lotions & Potions

-This post contains PR samples/Gifted items but no paid content. All opinions are my own-
Rosina's Lotions & Potions are a vintage inspired brand who use unique recipes to create natural luxury skincare, perfume and also bath bombs and candles. Perfect if you want to treat yourself to something more luxurious or if you are looking for gift ideas for a special occasion such as a birthday, mother's day or just as a treat. They sell all of their products separately and also sell gorgeous gift box sets too. I've been trialling some of the lovely products they have to offer over the past couple of weeks so in this post I'm talking about how I've gotten on with each product and whether I'd recommend.

As I've mentioned before I am still a little wary of using facial oils just because I have an oilier skin type. However the Rose Perfecting Facial Oil RRP £22* is supposed to be suitable for all skin types which eased my mind a little. Rosina's claim that the Rose Perfecting Oil is a delicate but deeply moisturising facial oil which contains healing properties of Hilianthus, Argan Oil and Rosa Damascena. It's also rich in essential nutrients, antioxidants and vitamins which makes it a must for all skin types. As expected it's Rose scented which I personally really like. With it being a natural-made brand their rose scent is a real rose scent and not synthetic which I prefer (I literally hate the scent of synthetic rose so much). What I really like about this product is that it's not a super thick oil and it doesn't feel like it's clogging up your pores like some deeply nourishing facial oils do. It's super gentle and the scent is very calming which is why I like to use it in the evening more so than in the morning. Overall it's a very nice facial oil and one I would potentially pick up again when my skin feels like it needs some extra hydration.

I could smell the hand poured Signature Rose Scented Candle RRP £20* in the gift box because I saw it and it had a lid on it too. The candle comes in it's own box which is the same design as the gift box and it also has a metal lid (not pictured). I absolutely love this candle and the scent sticks around even after blowing out the candle. You can smell it throughout the upstairs when it's lit too. It's super calming and a perfect candle to have lit whilst you're having a relaxing soak in the bath. It would definitely make a great gift for any rose scent lover!

Whilst it didn't put on a big display like a LUSH bath bomb does for a similar price the Fruit Salad Bath Bomb RRP £5* looks super cute in it's packaging and little Rosina's ribbon which would make it a great gift and I love the Fruit Salad scent. The smell of Fruit Salad takes me back to my childhood because of the sweets you used to be able to get so I guess you could say it's quite a throwback scented bath bomb to me if that makes sense haha.

Lastly is the Kale & Pomegranate Face Mask RRP £25*. The Kale and Pomegranate Enzyme Exfoliating Mask is a 3-in-1 product as it can be used as a cleanser, mask or a full blown facial in one product which makes it super travel friendly. I love the vintage looking packaging which is the same as the gift box everything arrived in. The phyto-active pomegranate enzymes gently exfoliate your skin which will make your skin look brighter right away. It also contains kale which will make your skin feel super soft no matter what your skin type is. I'm a huge skin care addict and face masks are definitely my weakness as you would be able to tell if you looked in my bathroom cabinet drawers. This face mask definitely does what it says it will do and my skin really enjoys this product. I've used it both as a cleanser and also face mask but not as a facial yet and every time I've had a great results and it left my skin looking smoother, feeling softer and also looking a little brighter (it's great to use first thing in the morning if your skin is looking a lil dull!).
