3 New Skincare Products I've Fallen In Love With

-This post contains PR samples/gifted items but no paid content. All opinions are my own-

I think we all know by now how much I love skincare and trying out different skincare products and brands. So I thought I would talk about three products which have basically blown my mind over the past month or so including one which has knocked one of my all-time favourite products off the top spot too.

Dermalogica Multi Active Mist Toner RRP £33 (Full Size)*
I do sometimes struggle with facial mists because for some reason a lot of them break me out around my hairline which I know is a weird reaction. But I've been using the Dermalogica MultiActive Mist Toner recently which I got in their advent calendar and I love it! It's great to use when my skin is feeling a little drab if I've been sitting at my laptop working away for hours or if I've just woken up from a nap and my skin feels like all the moisture has been sucked out of it or even just using it to wake me up a little first thing in the morning before I've cleansed my skin. It also smells very similar to the Pre Cleanse which is probably my fave product from Dermalogica and most repurchased product by them. It's definitely my current go-to facial mist and I've been reaching for it more than my usual fave which is the Pixi Rose Glow Mist.

Tropic Clear Skin Blemish Fighting Mask RRP £20*
This face mask is insanely good! I've never tried anything from Tropic before but they sent out a few products to try from them recently and I'm literally blown away by this face mask. It's quite thick so I do apply it with my fingers rather than my usual way which is a face mask spatula thing as I find you kind of waste the product if you use the spatula method. It smells very natural which makes sense as they are an all natural brand and the mask changes colour when it's properly dried down and it's one of those masks when you can see all the areas of enlarged pores and where the mask has grabbed any excess oil (kinda gross but also kinda fascinating too, right?). My favourite face mask over the past two years has been The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Mask and I'm always raving about it in the majority of my skincare posts but this has knocked it off the top spot just because it's so much easier to apply and remove and it basically gives me the same results. I still love The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Face Mask but I've definitely been reaching for the Claer Skin Blemish Fighting Mask one more over the past month and I've still got loads of product left too!

Urban Veda Purifying Oil RRP £29.99*
I really like the Urban Veda Purifying Facial Wash and it's a complete god send when my hormones go crazy and my skin decides to grow a couple of mountains on my face around that time of the month. It really helps to soothe and reduce inflammation and any spots seem to go away quicker when I use their facial wash. I did use to use the Tea Tree range from The Body Shop but I found it was drying out my skin a little so I ditched it. So when I got the opportunity to try out Urban Veda's new Purifying Facial Oil from the Purifying range I obviously said yes! I do usually shy away from facial oils just because I have fairly oily and spot prone skin and I worry it'll make my skin oilier. I have used facial oils before though but none so far have blown me away and most of them are just very moisturising and don't actually do anything for my spots or oiliness. However after using this 2-3 times per week for around 3 weeks I've noticed that my skin isn't producing as much oil and if I do have any active hormonal spots then they don't stick around as long as normal which is great. So I think I've actually found a facial oil which agrees with my skin and works both as a moisturiser and spot treatment too which is fab!

Have you tried any new skincare products lately that you've fallen in love with?

  1. I used use Dermalogica all the time but haven't tried anything for a while. That toner looks really interesting though!
