A Beauty Wishlist

I haven't done a beauty wishlist in a while and there's definitely a few things I have my eyes on right now. It's also almost my birthday so I guess you could call this a birthday beauty wishlist too lol. So here are some things which I have my eyes on right now and also why I'm interested in them.

Dermalogica Breakout Clearing Kit £26.50 / Magnitone Well Heeled Pedicure System £25 / Pixi Glow Tonic Cleansing Gel £18

My skin has been acting up over the past few weeks. It's been mostly clear for 3 months now but I think the stress of things going on in my life recently and also because I've had some bad pain flare ups over the past couple of weeks, it's caused my skin to freak out and I'm currently dealing with a fair few spots that don't seem to want to go away. I'm already a huge fan of Dermalogica and I really want to try out some of the products from their Clear Start range, which is why I thought the kit I found on LookFantastic which contains Breakout Clearing Foaming Wash (75ml), Breakout Clearing Booster (10ml) and the Skin Soothing Hydrating Lotion (30ml) seemed interesting. Around this time of the year I notice the skin on feet becomes drier, which I know sounds weird because most people get dry skin in the weather. It's not super bad but it's not great either so I want to pick up a new pedicure system and I've got my eyes on the Magnitone Well Heeled Pedicure System. I've loved everything I've ever owned from Magnitone so I trust that their pedicure system will be great too.  Pixi have added some products to their "Glow Tonic" range and I love the original Glow Tonic and I've been using it more recently as my skin is being a pain and acting up. So when I saw that their Glow Tonic Cleansing Gel had become available to buy I put it in my basket ready to buy... but I've got a few other cleansers I want to finish before buying it.

Barry M Brow Wand £5.99 / Pixi PinkSalt Cleansing Oil £24 / Fresh Soy Face Cleanser £30

Barry M have definitely stolen the show in terms of drugstore brands for me over the past year. Everyone seems to be mad for Revolution but I honestly haven't been that blown away by their latest releases and I think they've increased their prices by a lot too. Barry M have so many interesting products to offer. My fave find from them has got to be their Unicorn Drops Primer Drops which gives a subtle but noticeable glow under your makeup or even when it's worn alone (it's technically a skin care product too!) and it smells super fruity too. Their new brow product "Brow Wand" has definitely piqued my interest as it's got a pencil on one end and a brow gel on the other - genius! The pencil does look quite chunky though so I don't know if I'd get on with it or not but it's worth a try. Pixi seem to be popping out new products by the week! Another new product which I have my eyes on and I can already verify that I shall be buying it soon is the PinkSalt Cleansing Oil which is infused with Himalayan Salt which helps to detoxify and purify the skin whilst deeply cleansing. It also contains Rosemary Leaf Oil which decongests and clarifies and Olive Oil which is a antioxidant and vitamin packed too. It really does sound perfect for my skin type! I also want to pick up the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser again. I have used a few travel size versions before and I remember loving it so I thought I'd just pop it on my wishlist anyway.

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleli Bronzer £25 / OLAPLEX No.3 Hair Perfector £24 / It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Oil Free Matte Cream £31

I've been wanting to get my hands on the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleli Bronzer for a while now but I just feel it is quite pricey for a bronzer and I don't wear bronzer all of the time either. But it does seem like a perfect bronzer for someone with a pale skin type like myself. Plus... it smells like chocolate, yum. Everyone seems to rave about OLAPLEX NO.3 Hair Perfector and I want to see what the hype is about. I've been using more treatment type of products on my hair recently and they've been working really well. So once I've used up a few products I already own, I think I may try it out for myself. I've already got the original It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream which I do really like but with me having an oilier skin type I think the Matte option would suit me better and keep me matte for longer. The original is very dewy (although it can be powered down) and the matte apparently has a more higher coverage too. So it's definitely one I want to pick up soon so I'm ready for the warmer weather!

IGK Hair Beach Club Volumizing Texture Spray £25 / BECCA Hydra Mist Set & Refresh Powder £32 / Essie Nail Polish in Clothing Optional £7.99

IGK Hair are a brand I've been wanting to try some products from for a while but they are on the pricier side. However a lot of people who I know who have tried them say that they are 100% worth the money and also that their products last longer than cheaper options too apparently? I also love the aesthetically pleasing packaging too. Although there's a few products by IGK Hair I'd love to try, I think the Beach Club Texture Spray is the one I want to try the most. I love the sound of the BECCA Hydra Mist Set & Refresh Powder! I know it sounds a little gimmicky but it does sound like a really interesting product which would be perfect for when the weather gets a little warmer. It apparently gives you a cooling effect when you apply it and I don't think there's anything else like it on the market either. I really want to pick up a few more Essie nail polishes because I just love Essie in general and I really want to get a few nude shades and also a few more colourful options too. The Clothing Optional shade is a mauve-grey kind of shade which is something I tend to sway towards as it quite a neutral everyday colour.

  2. I never used to wear bronzer at all, and now I wear that Too Faced Milk Chocolate bronzer every day! It does smell amazing and like chocolate, but it's a really good bronzer too! :)
