My Thoughts On Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Skincare Range

Palmers kindly sent over their recently launched Coconut Oil Formula Facial Care range which I’ve been trying out over the past month or so. I love using Coconut scented products, particularly during the warmer months because it just makes your skincare feel summer-y too. Is that just me lol? The Coconut Oil Formula Facial Care range is also not tested on animals and is free of Parabens, Mineral Oil, Phthalates, Sulfates, Methylisothiazolinone, Gluten, GMO's and Harsh Chemicals.

I was sent four products from the range and I’ve tried all of them apart from the
Coconut Monoi Luminous Hydration Facial Oil* as I feel like my skin doesn’t really need a facial oil for hydration alone right now as it’s been quite hormonal and oily lately. But it tends to go a little crazy around October time and doesn’t know whether it wants to be oily or dry.

The Coconut Water Facial Moisturizer* was probably the product I was most intrigued about as it has an almost jelly-like consistency (it literally wobbles like jelly in the jar). It's infused with coconut water, hyaluronic acid and papaya enzymes and because of its lightweight, airy consistency, It’s perfect for oily/combination skin types and it also targets anti-ageing. It also has a nice fresh feeling about it after application which I like a lot too and it leaves your skin looking radiant. Spoiler alert - it’s definitely going to be featuring in my next faves blog post!

The Coconut Monoi Cleansing Balm* has a nice consistency as it’s not too rich but not too light and it emulsifies on contact with warm water and produces a light lather which helps to make it easier to remove your makeup. You also don’t need to use a huge amount to remove your makeup which is good as a different cleansing balm I was using recently, which actually happened to be a high end one, needed a fair amount of product each use in order for it to remove my minimal makeup which was quite annoying considering the price tag.

The Coconut Sugar Facial Scrub* is a lovely manual facial scrub that contains raw coconut sugar, extra virgin coconut oil and chamomile flower to help improve your complexion. I know most people are now more into chemical exfoliators over manual scrubby facial scrubs but I kind of like using a mixture of them both these days as I find that manual scrubs are particularly good at removing or bringing deep blackheads up to the surface on my T-Zone.

Have you tried anything from Palmer's before? Are you interested in trying out their new skincare range? If so, the whole range is available at Tesco now.
