Rosina's Lotions & Potions are a vintage inspired brand who use unique recipes to create natural luxury skincare, perfume and also bath bombs and candles. Perfect if you want to treat yourself to something more luxurious or if you are looking for gift ideas for a special occasion such as a birthday, mother's day or just as a treat. They sell all of their products separately and also sell gorgeous gift box sets too. I've been trialling some of the lovely products they have to offer over the past couple of weeks so in this post I'm talking about how I've gotten on with each product and whether I'd recommend.

I am more of a minimal makeup kind of girl myself so I thought I'd talk about my current go-to products when I'm having a super minimal makeup and also talk about which products I'm planning on using in the Spring months too as I've picked up some new products recently and I also am planning on going back to some old fave products too.

I've recently been trying out Aussie brand NEEK Skin Organics skincare products who are vegan friendly and contain no nasties in any of their products. I have seen their lipsticks floating about on my insta feed a lot lately which btw look gorgeous and I'm definitely going to have to try out soon. But I didn't realise that they offer skincare products too so when I got an email about their skincare products I was quite surprised. They currently have just two products available in their skincare range which are the Cleanser and the Moisturiser which both come in minimal but cute packaging both declaring that the products are "tested on sisters not animals".

In today's post, I'm going to talk about four ways you can take control of your health. With it being International Women's Day on the 9th of March and Mother’s Day on the 31st, I feel like March is very much a "woman focused" month. The steps below include things that every woman could benefit from, and there’s no time like the present to improve your health and wellbeing.

I haven't done one of these posts since around December last year so I thought it was about time I updated you on what I've been reading, watching and listening to lately. There's been good things and some things which I feel like could've been a lot better as well but in this post I'm just going to talk about the things I've enjoyed rather than the things which I feel could've been a lot better.

Everybody loves a good family holiday, but for people with young children, the expense and hassle can be enough to avoid it until they’re a lot older. The good news is that if you plan in advance, it’s now easier than ever to take a long or short break, with more and more accommodation options catering to families with small children. But, if you’re thinking about taking a baby or toddler along on a well-deserved break, it certainly pays to do your homework first. Here are five key factors to keep in mind before going on holiday with youngsters.

I used to be such a big fan of sheet masks but last year I was using more clay masks instead of sheet masks just because my skin was acting up a lot which I think was just down to being unwell and the stress of it all and I found that clay masks helped my skin out more than a sheet mask did. However I've recently fallen back in love with my sheet masks because I find they are a good quick fix when my skin needs some extra care. I recently was sent a Glow Starter Box from Mask Time who sell KBeauty Sheet Masks from various different brands and they offer subscription boxes and also gift boxes full of sheet masks. I received their December Glow Starter Box RRP £12.95 (including free UK Mainland postage if subscribed).

In my Glow Starter Box I received 4 different sheet masks from different brands and I actually have never heard of any of the brands before which I personally like because I love trying out new and different brands and I've found some great brands that way in the past.

I'm sure by now if you read my blog often or follow me on social media then you'll know that I have chronic pelvic pain and back pain and I am in pain every day with it. I've recently discovered CBD oil which is the first thing which has actually helped the pain which I have not been allergic to. The only problem is that it's quite pricey and I get through 2-3 bottles per month as I take it daily because my pain is that severe most days. So when I got the opportunity to try Salve Herbal CBD Hemp Oil Drops* which are priced at £19.99 I was very intrigued to see if their drops work for me as their prices are the cheapest I've come across so far.

I've talked about Baylis & Harding many times on my blog because I just think they a great all rounder brand for both gifting and also single products like their body washes, hand washes and more too. I always use their hand washes without fail (my current favourite is the Beautiology Frosted Sprinkles one because it smells yum) and they are kind of my go-to brand when I want to pick up an affordable but nice bath and bodycare gift for someone - whatever the occasion. They've just released a new and limited edition range called "Pink Fizz and Elderflower" just for Valentine's Day and in today's post I thought I would talk about the gifts I was sent and what's included and also talk about the products I've tried so far.

Summer 2018 was a scorcher, but unfortunately we’re now suffering through the other end of the spectrum with some freezing temperatures, snow and ice. It’s an expensive time of year for bill payers so it’s worth considering how you can be more energy efficient and save some pennies. Here are some things to think about with regards to your central heating:

5 Things To Do in Manchester *

In today's post I'm talking about some things to do in Manchester, whether if you're planning a day visit or having a mini city break there's definitely plenty of things for you to do. I'm a bit of a shopaholic so Manchester is probably the closest city to me which has everything I want or need either smack in the middle of the city or just on the outskirts so if I want to go on a big shopping trip, Manchester is where I'll tend to go.

I love trying out brands that I've never tried before so in today's post I'm talking about three products which I've been trying out from Daytox Skincare which is available from Waitrose and also Amazon. They focus on one of the most important organs in the detoxification process: the skin. They are on the pricier side of skincare in my eyes but if you're into skincare and like to invest a bit more money into your skincare regime then you'll hopefully enjoy reading about these products and also reading about my thoughts overall about the brand and products I've tried.
