I'm finally getting around to writing a favourites post (woo!) I literally haven't done a favourites since November, yep really - oops. But over the past few months I've definitely had a selection of go-to products which I've been loving. I'll even go as far to say that I've found a few holy grail products too. So I thought it was about time I'd share them with you.

EarthWater | Does It Really Work?

in , , by Kirsty Milward, 27.2.18

EarthWater by Fulhum is a natural, mineral-based alkaline water which claims to do many impressive things including - boost and help rebuild the immune system, reduce stress, improve circulation and lower blood pressure, enable better sleep, remove toxins and free radicals, maintain healthy hair, skin and nails, lower arthritis-related pain and more. It's also calorie-free!

I've been trying out the water over the past few weeks and I've been drinking a bottle every day/every other day and I thought I'd share with you my overall thoughts in a mini review styled post.

Today I'm writing about an affordable London-based haircare brand called Natural World. I've heard of Natural World before and I think I own a few of their hair oils in my stash but I've never gotten around to trying out any of their products until now. Their Charcoal & Mint Ultra Purifying Range contains a Shampoo, Conditioner and also a Balancing Hair Mask (I do love a good hair mask!). Both the Shampoo and Conditioner are in huge 1L bottles so they'll definitely last a while and the Hair Mask comes in a handy tube which is great for travelling and also a storage saver instead of being in a hefty tub. The products are free from parabens, phosphates, phthalates, dyes and gluten with 95% natural-derived ingredients, activated charcoal and organic mint.

We all want and need extra cash at times whether it's for an unexpected bill like a car repair or if you just fancy treating yourself to something because you feel like you deserve it after a tough week then I have a few legit ways to make some extra money depending on if you are after a bit of extra pocket money per month or need a lump sum of money asap then carry on reading this post for some simple ways to get the money you need.

It's only February and it's safe to say that my health this year has been shockingly bad, I've literally been unwell with different things since the beginning of December (yes, really!). It got to the point that I was questioning myself "what have I done wrong to deserve this?". But I'm kind of getting over the worst of what's been going on ~touch wood~. So because of this I'm currently trying to improve my overall health both physically and mentally and I thought I would write about some great ways to improve your health and hopefully give you some motivation if you're struggling with your physical health and mental health right now like myself.

I'm such a makeup brush hoarder but I think it's because I like having "back up" brushes so that when I'm super lazy and cba to wash my brushes, I have another full face worth of brushes to use before I have to wash my brushes. If that makes sense? Yep. I really hate washing my brushes that much. Fact. So when Nanshy got in touch asking if I would like to try out their gorgeous brushes, I obviously said yes please right away. I'd never actually heard of Nanshy before because I kind of just stick to my Real Techniques, Spectrum and also Crown ones because I know they all work well for me. But I really liked the look of the Nanshy ones and another great thing about them is that they are cruelty-free and also vegan friendly and it's nice to try out new tools rather than new makeup, right?

I recently caved and made my second and erm... third Glossier order a few weeks ago. I really wanted to try out their latest product which claims to basically make your skin super clear and it also has cute packaging... so obviously I couldn't resist. Along with the Solution I decided to pick up a few other products from Glossier which I've been wanting to try out for a while so I thought I'd share what I picked up and also my thoughts so far.

Spring is probably my favourite season, I love that the weather is warm but not too warm and that the cold days are not too cold. You get me? I also like that it's the season where everything comes back to life after the cold winter months and seeing daffodils for sale and spring lambs bounding about, I don't know... I just love it. I'm not fond of the cold weather and I don't particularly love Summer because I hate showing my bare arms and legs to the world. I also love Spring fashion and the fact that I can whip out my favourite denim jackets again or go out wearing a chunky knit cardigan instead of wearing a big unflattering coat. So I thought I'd share with you some things I've got my eyes on at the minute in a few places.
Today's post is all about Pulse Light Clinic based in London and the Coolsculpting Treatment that they offer. Most people have stubborn fat cells in certain areas which just don't seem to want to budge even if you're exercising regulary and eating all the healthy foods. Coolsculpting is a non-surgical, safe (FDA approved) fat freezing treatment which uses the fat freezing technology of Cryolipolysis which freezes the unwanted fat cells and eliminates the fat cells without needing to use needles or surgery.

I used to be such a huge fan of beauty boxes but late last year I decided to opt out of the ones I was signed up to because I found that a lot of the products I was receiving each month weren't for me and I ended up giving half of the products away or just had them sat in my beauty drawers for weeks or months on end. But when an email landed in my inbox a few weeks ago about Latest In Beauty's Date Night Box* I was really impressed at the selection of products inside and decided to see what they were all about. The Date Night Box was initially aimed for Valentine's Day (obviously) but when you're reading this I'm guessing it's a few days after Valentine's because the box arrived on the Monday before Valentine's and I've just been so busy trying to catch up on life and work because of my rubbish health over the past few weeks but hey, that doesn't mean you can't treat yourself or a loved one to the Date Night Box a few days late, right? right. Anyway let's move onto what you're really here for... to find out more about what's inside the box and my thoughts.

There has been so many great releases from brands over the past month or so and I thought I would ~try~ and get it down to just five things I've really been loving and I'm not going to lie, it was hard, but I've finally managed to do it. So I thought I'd share with you my top 5 new-ish beauty releases which I've been enjoying recently.

A Homeware Wishlist

in , , by Kirsty Milward, 8.2.18

I'm currently trying to revamp my bedroom a little because I get bored of how it looks very easily and just want a change. But with my current back problems, it's been hard to actually get it done so I guess you could say it's a work in progress. So far I've moved my room around and rejigged it a little and that's about it. I'm planning on buying the ALEX 9 drawer unit from IKEA in the next few weeks to put in the corner of my room so I have some extra storage space for my overflow makeup and other bits and bobs and then hopefully I'll be able to get around to painting my room later this month. But because I'm not able to actually whip the paint out and do much else to my room until I feel better, I've been looking at a lot of things to maybe buy once it's all done. So I thought I'd show you what I've been eyeing up lately.

I've technically been self-employed through my blog since May last year because that's when I secured my first sponsored post. I began to earn money in dribs and drabs and then late last year my blog really picked up with both sponsored content and also insta #ads via Takumi and I decided at the end of last year that because I was making enough money each month that I should take the plunge and go properly self-employed via my blog. Whilst blogging isn't as easy as non-bloggers seem to think, it's something I really enjoy doing and yes it does have it's pros and cons like any job but I still love it. I may not be making thousands each month but I get along at an okay rate and can afford to pay my bills. I also live at home which is obviously helpful too. Anyway for today's post I thought I would kind of do an update/my honest thoughts on self-employment so far.

I love trying out new beauty brands and finding something new, LOLA makeup are pretty new to the beauty scene and create professional and cruelty-free products. Their packaging is nice and sleek looking and nothing over the top which I personally do really like. I've been trying out a few bits from them over the past few weeks and I thought I would share with you my overall thoughts on the products I've tried so far.

Some Makeup Bits I'm Currently Loving

in , by Kirsty Milward, 3.2.18

I'm all for healthy, dewy skin right now as my skin is majorly lacking in any type of healthy glow, it's looking very dull but has also been breaking out quite frequently too which is a pain. I also am craving for it to be Spring because Spring is one of my favourite months and I love changing up my makeup for the season. So I thought I would share with you my current go-to glowy makeup picks as well as some new and old favourites in general.

Makeup Revolution are hands down one of my favourite makeup brands of all time. I love that they release new products pretty much weekly (though my bank account doesn't really approve lol), their products are always reasonably priced and always of high quality. Of course, they are cruelty-free too which makes their price range seem even more impressive. I also like how easy their products are to pick up too from Superdrug or Tam Beauty. A few weeks ago they released 6 new shades to the Renaissance Lipstick range and they very kindly sent me 4 of the new shades to try out for myself and today I'm sharing with you my thoughts as well as swatches of the lipsticks I received.
