A Beauty Wishlist

I'm currently on a bit of a spending ban because I've been "treating myself" a little too much lately and I've also been buying Christmas presents so my bank account is looking a little well, bleak right now. I also want to save up some money for the Christmas/Boxing Day sales too so I thought I'd put together a beauty wishlist of things I've got my eyes on at the minute. Some are on the cheaper side and some are more high-end so there's a mixture of everything.

1. Tanya Burr Selfie Lash Mascara £7.99 / 2. OFRA Beverly Hills Highlighter £22 / 3. Mario Badescu Skincare Drying Lotion £16

I really want to pick up a few more bits from Tanya Burr Cosmetics because the Illuminating Powder I own in the shade Champagne Sorbet is so nice and great quality for the price. I've heard so many good things about the Selfie Lash mascara and I like the look of the wand. I'll be honest, the OFRA highlighter mainly caught my eye because of the packaging so I'm not 100% sure if I'll actually pick it up because I don't really like the full-on highlighter look but who knows? I've heard so many great things about the Mario Badescu skincare range so I really want to try the Drying Lotion because I think it would be great for my hormonal spot flare-ups.

4. Maybelline Colour Tattoo - Permanent Taupe £5.99 / 5. Kat Von D Lock it Foundation £27 / 6. Real Techniques Full Coverage Essentials £30

I'm not usually a fan of cream eyeshadows but I really like the look of the Permanent Taupe shade, it just looks like a nice, everyday kind of shade. Everyone seems to rave about the Kat Von D Lock It Foundation so I definitely want to try it hopefully soon, I really like the packaging too. I've literally fallen in love with the limited edition brushes from Real Techniques, I have popped them on my Christmas list this year. I don't really need any more brushes but they're just so pretty.

I really like the look of the Miss Baby Roll Mascara wand, it's different because it has a twist thing going on and I think it would be great for my stubborn lashes. I really like the Miss Hippie mascara so I think I will like the Miss Baby Roll too. The Dim Light highlighter from Hourglass is one of those glow from within kind of highlighters which I'm a huge fan of, it is pricey for a highlighter but a lot of people say it's 100% worth the money. Everyone seems to be talking about the Mint Chocolate palette from I Heart Makeup because it's very similar to the ABH Subculture palette but personally I don't like to wear bold colours so when I saw they launched the Chocolate Elixir Palette I thought to myself "that's more my cup of tea" it also looks kind of similar to the Modern Renaissance palette and I like that most of the shades are matte.

10. Benefit Dandelion Twinkle Highlighter £24 / 11. Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara £7.99 / 12. Makeup Revolution Pro HD Highlighter Palette - Glow Getter £15

I absolutely love the Benefit Dandelion Blush which I picked up earlier this year, it's just the perfect everyday pop of pink blush that everyone needs in their makeup collection. So I thought maybe I'll like the Dandelion Twinkle Highlighter and I think it will compliment Shy Beam which I love too. I know I've gone a little OTT on mascaras on this wishlist but I want to try out some new ones and find some more staple mascaras which don't break the bank. There's been a lot of talk about how good the Colossal Big Shot is so it's definitely one I want to pick up hopefully soon. Lastly is the gorgeous newly released Glow Getter Palette from Makeup Revolution, I just think it's stunning and it looks very similar to another highlighter I mentioned earlier which is more money, whereas the Glow Getter palette has 8 highlighters.

  1. I can definitely see why the majority of these products are on your wishlist! The Selfie Lash mascara looks incredible from what I have seen of Tanya putting it on her own lashes - go treat yourself girl!
