August Wishlist

If you haven't already noticed, I've been really enjoying doing wishlists on my blog lately. So I thought I'd do a wishlist for August. I guess you could say that this is a collective wishlist because it's not just clothes this time. I've also got beauty products and a few homeware items because as you may have seen on my twitter/instagram that I'm in the midst of revamping my bedroom on a kind of budget. Some of these things I could go out and pick up right now because they are super cheap but I'm trying to be sensible and stop spending money on things I don't really need right now lol.

As I mentioned I'm currently revamping my bedroom and because I have a "brick" feature wall which is where my bed is, I'm trying to keep it simple and dress up my bed with pretty cushions rather than busy looking bedding and have a plain duvet cover instead. I really like the look of the Velvet cushion cover I've come across, it's really pretty and would blend in with my room nicely and it'd also look pretty with a cushion I picked up the other day.

I'm really liking the whole tie-up top look all of a sudden, I've currently only got 2 tops with the tie-up at the front and I really like the printed one I've come across whilst browsing Primark's site. I'm going to be paying a visit to Chester sometime in the next week or so, so If I see it there, I will definitely pick it up.

First up of the beauty products I'm going to mentioning in my wishlist is the Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette, I know everyone is raving about the new Naked Heat palette but I'm really like the look of the Sweet Peach palette that I'm guessing everyone is already over now. I just can't justify paying £39 on an eyeshadow palette right now though.

4. Benefit Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer £17.50 / 5.  New Look Cactus Print Duvet Set £27.99 / 6. Boohoo Contrast Trim Stripe T-shirt £12

Benefit have just released (well re-released) some new Boi-ing products and I'm really intrigued and want to try the airbrush concealer. I'm not sure what it was called before, but I like the sound of it. I have tried the original Industrial Bo-ing and loved it but it is pretty pricey for a concealer really, isn't it? But we'll see if I give in and buy it.

I know I'm completely contradicting myself about not wanting a busy duvet cover but New Look have just started to sell bedding and I love the look of this cute cactus print duvet cover and I like that it's reversible too. If my room wasn't so busy with my brick feature wall and bold colours then I'll definitely pick up this duvet set.

I really like stripes right now, yes my wardrobe is already full of stripe prints and it literally makes my eyes go weird when I open my wardrobe doors but what's another striped t-shirt added to the collection?

7. H&M House Shelf £17.99 / 8. Espirit Polka Dot Jersey Dress £39  / 9. Boohoo Elephant Print Beach Bag £10

I'm debating on whether to put up some shelves in my room, I'm not sure if the house shelf from H&M would be a little overpowering but I thought I'd add it on here anyway. It's so cute and I think it's a great price.

As I mentioned on my previous wish list before this one, I'm on the lookout for some pretty but flattering dresses and I really like the look of the Polka Dot Jersey Dress above. It looks comfy and floaty and I think the sleeves are cute too.

I'm obsessed with anything with elephants printed on again this Summer and I soon as I saw the Boohoo Elephant Print Beach Bag I was automatically drawn to it. I may have to buy it, like asap. It's gorgeous and eyecatching and a bargain for £10.

10.  New Look LED Dream Light £12.99  / 11. LUSH The Big Sleep Jelly Bath Bomb £4.95 / 12. H&M Canvas Cushion Cover £8.99

I really like warm-toned kind of lights in my room because it makes my room feel so relaxed and cosy at night. I love that cosy kind of feeling even in the Summer and I really like the look of the "dream" light from New Look, it's just really pretty and would look nice on top of my old 1940's fireplace in my room.

I haven't bought anything new from LUSH for a while, I always pick up things I know that I love. So when I saw that they have released some new products I had a nosey and quite a lot of the products caught my eye. This jelly bath bomb, in particular, it's called "The Big Sleep" and it sounds like it's the same scent as "Twilight" which is one of my favourites.

Again another homeware item the H&M Canvas Cushion Cover caught my eye and I like the abstract kind of vibe it gives off. I really want to layer my cushions on my bed (yes I'm one of those people) and I just like the look of this one.

13. Primark Wine Cord Pinafore £12 / 14. Boohoo Printed Off The Shoulder Dress £18 / 15. LUSH Just To Clarify Jelly Face Mask £6.95

I still haven't come across a pinafore dress which suits me and it sucks. This wine coloured pinafore dress is so pretty and if I see it in store I'm definitely going to try it (but I'm not getting my hopes up). I think it's more of an Autumn/Winter kind of looking dress but I'd definitely buy it.

I really like the colours as well as the print of the Bardot dress from Boohoo and that it looks really comfortable.

Another newbie from LUSH is a range of Jelly face masks which are self-preserving! I'm definitely going to pick one of these up to give it a try because I'm really intrigued. I think Just To Clarify is the mask which will suit my skin but I'm going to go in LUSH first and see what they smell like because there's nothing worse than buying a face mask and hating the smell of it.

So there's my August Wishlist.

  3. I don't have any Too Faced eye palettes but so many people are loving the Sweet Peach palette. On my wish list at the moment is the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick :)
