Christmas Gift Guide - Main Gift & Stocking Filler Ideas

I would say that this gift guide is more of a "For Her" gift guide because I just find buying gifts for men so awkward most of the time. I tend to just go down the gift set, socks, chocolate and/or alcohol route and that tends to work. Although there are a few gifts featured which are aimed at men and also a few unisex kind of gifts too!

I always find it awkward to write about "the main gift" as people's budgets varies so I've tried to keep it affordable but with a few pricier products which I think are worth the money and would make a great main gift.

Missguided Boss Babe EDP 80ml Gift Set £25*

The Missguided gift sets include an 80ml EDP and also a cute owl pom pom keyring. You can buy the gift sets in the different scents available from Missguided all for the same price. I have Boss Babe which is a gorgeous warm, slightly musky and fruity scent which I think is perfect for the colder months and festive season. I love the unique looking "can" bottle design too. Available from Superdrug, Boots and The Fragrance Shop.

JewelleryBox Jewellery starting from £2.95*
A few months ago JewelleryBox kindly gifted me some pieces to feature on my blog and I was so shocked how affordable and great quality all the pieces are. They definitely look more expensive then they actually are. So I just had to feature them in my Christmas gift guide this year! They sell earrings, necklaces, bracelets, nose rings, body jewellery and more for men, women and children. Also for £1.95 you can upgrade your packaging to a gorgeous gift box which I talked about in my blog post and you get free delivery when you spend over £10.

The Dream Handbook by Jane Teresa Anderson £12.99 and The Power of Crystal Healing: Change Your Energy and Live a High-vibe Life by Emma Lucy Knowles £4.99
If you're buying for someone who likes reading and also open to finding out more about crystal healing, energies or wanting know more about their dreams and things like that. Then I'd definitely recommend the books above which I've picked up for myself this year. The Dream Handbook is kind of like an Encyclopedia of things you may dream about which I've personally found really interesting. I've also wanted to get more into understanding crystals and their "healing powers" so I picked up The Power of Crystal Healing which is not only a great starter book, its also one of those books that would look great on your bookshelf or coffee table too.

Sensse Silicone Cleansing Brush £39.99*
For the skincare lover in your life then I can't recommend the Sensse Silicone Cleansing Brush enough. It's similar to a FOREO cleansing brush but cheaper. It works for any skin type and also has a 60 Day Money Back Guarantee and 2 year warranty. It's great for cleansing and exfoliating your skin and giving you a more healthy and radiant glow. It's got a built in timer so it pauses every 15 seconds to tell you to move onto another area and it's waterproof and also rechargeable.

Baylis and Harding Sweet Mandarin and Grapefruit Diffuser £13.99*
I think home type of gifts always go down well at Christmas if you're really stuck for ideas, which is why I think the Sweet Mandarin and Grapefruit diffuser would be a fab gift idea. It also comes in cute Christmas tree inspired packaging as you can see above and it will definitely last a while because it's on the bigger side. You can pick up their diffusers in different scents too, if the Sweet Mandarin and Grapefruit doesn't sound suitable for the person you're buying for. I've currently got this in my main bathroom and it smells lovely.

Baylis and Harding Black Pepper and Ginseng Travel Essentials Set £11*
Like I've mentioned in my previous gift guide, I always pick up a few different Baylis and Harding gift sets at Christmas because they are so affordable and there's just something for everyone. The men's gift set above contains: hair and body wash, shower gel, face wash and aftershave balm - all in the black pepper and ginseng scent which by the way, smells bloody gorgeous. It's definitely a great set for someone who travels a lot and you can also pick up the Black Pepper and Ginseng scent in different size sets too (I know this as I've already bought one for someone for Christmas this year!).

The Body Shop Face Masks £17
I know these may seem on the pricier side for a face mask and as a main gift but if you're buying a gift for a skincare lover then believe me, they'd love one of these masks. The Himalayan Charcoal Face Mask is hands down my all time favourite face mask, it works so well for my troublesome, oily skin type. But there's quite a variety of masks to choose from to suit different skin types. If you want to opt for the ones in the middle if you're unsure of your recipient's skin type then I'd recommend picking up the Mediterranean Almond Milk with Oats Soothing Mask or the British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask.

LUSH Shower Bomb, Bath Bomb or Shower Gel priced from £2.25
I don't think you can go wrong with LUSH for Christmas really, can you? Obviously you need to know if the person you're buying for has either a shower/bath or both. I think their shower bombs, bath bombs and shower gels/jellies would all make good little stocking fillers. Or you could spend a bit extra and pick up one of their gift sets. I really like the look of the Night Before Christmas gift set this year which is £12.95.

Candles - Primark, H&M or B&M
I personally love getting candles for either my birthday or at Christmas, I don't think it really matters where the candle is from as long as it smells nice and looks pretty. Maybe knowing your recipients favourite candle brand or favourite scents would be best but I think candles from Primark, H&M and B&M are your best option for an affordable candle that can either be a stocking filler or main gift.

Burts Bees Lip Balm Trio Tin Set £9.99*
If you want to stock someone up on Burt's Bees lip balms then you could pick up their Lip Balm Trio Tin which contains three of their lip balms: Honey, Coconut and Pear and Mint. My all time favourite is definitely the Coconut and Pear balm and it's nice to see that one in the tin. You could even buy one of these tins and separate the balms if you were making a few beauty hampers for gifts this year.

Hair Secretz Diamond Hair Brush £12.99*
I know I've already featured this in my previous Beauty Gift Guide but I thought I'd pop it in this gift guide too as I do think it'd make a good little stocking filler. It's also a little bit fancy as it comes with it's own Swarovski Crystal to make it a bit different to your bog-standard hair brush and you can pick it up in three different colours.

All That Jazz The Designer Collection £11.97*
All That Jazz offer a huge variety of nail polish shades from singles to collections like The Designer Collection and they are brilliant quality. I tend to struggle with nail polishes no matter what brand and how much I spend but these are great and they actually last on my nails. In The Designer Collection you get the shades; Betsey, Vivienne, Vera and Coco. My faves are definitely Vera and Betsey. I think these would make a great gift for someone who loves nail polishes or for someone who is starting to get into using makeup and beauty products in general would love All That Jazz. They are really affordable, fab quality and offer free delivery on all orders too.

Reese's Scented Cosmetics Bag and Balms £10*
I had to include the Reese's Scented bag and balms because one: I personally love peanut butter and two: the bag is peanut butter scented. What?! I think it just goes the extra mile without being a silly amount of money and would be a great stocking filler. Inside there's a Reese's stick lip balm and also a lip balm shaped like the Reese's peanut butter cup too. Cute!
