In today's post I'm talking about Proto-Col's Intense Protection Day Moisturiser SPF50+*. Proto-Col have had a rebrand and also revamped the packaging of some of their products too. The Intense Protection Day Moisturiser gently hydrates and provides a protective barrier from environmental related pollutants and sun exposure. No matter where you live, the day moisturiser will deliver daily hydration and protection. It's a full spectrum product with a formula which helps to shield the skin from free radicals and offers high protection against the main causes of premature ageing - UVA, UVB, pollution and environmental stress. Its lightweight formula, hydrates, firms and plumps skin and is also suitable for all skin types and free from SLS, parabens and micro-beads. At £39.95 it is something to invest in but when it comes to something as important as protecting your skin from sun exposure and pollutants, it's worth it. It's SPF50 so it's definitely going to protect your skin well. I'm also a fan of the anti-ageing aspect to SPF so at £39.95, I don't think it's too bad of a price.

The Intense Protection Day Moisturiser SPF50+ contains all of the good stuff too including -
plant derived collagen, hyaluronic acid, coral seaweed and fresh royal jelly which nourishes the skin. It also contains Aloe Vera which is soothing and healing and great for dry, chapped skin and dermatitis sufferers. I've become a huge fan of Aloe Vera lately as I've been having what I can only describe as an on/off dairy intolerance (weird, I know!). When I do react to something containing dairy, my face goes bright red, like sunburn and feels hot to touch, so I've been using a lot of products with Aloe Vera to soothe and help it to settle down.

Overall, I really like the Intense Protection Day Moisturiser from Proto-Col, I like the new sleek packaging design and I also think it's great that it's not super chunky, so it's a good one for travelling too. It doesn't seem to have a scent and it also agrees with my oily skin type and doesn't break me out like some high spf products do.
