Trying K-Beauty Brand Heimish For The First Time

Heimish are a Korean beauty brand that focuses on selling natural, simple skincare and makeup that is suitable for daily use. Their price range is what I would say is around drugstore priced depending on what you’re buying and they export their products to 70+ different countries. I received three of their best-selling products to try out and review and here’s are thoughts…

First up are the Matcha Biome Hydrogel Eye Patches (x60) £17.50* which I was excited to try as I love using eye patches and they’re a must in my skincare routine most days. The Heimish Matcha Biome Hydrogel Eye Patches are cheaper than my usual go-to eye patches and they have been designed to firm, moisturise and soothe the under eye area. The patches contain 50% Fermented Matcha water and are fortified with probiotics to help improve moisture and strengthen your skin barrier. They’re also enriched with 100g of nourishing essence, formulated with Heimish's unique Matcha Biome Active which is a top-secret blend of Matcha probiotics, enzymes, and fermented green tea water from Jeju-grown tea leaves. The patches are also made from 100% eco-friendly ocean gel and formulated with a mix of sea plants that dissolve naturally in warm water without waste which I thought was pretty interesting as many eye patches on the market aren’t biodegradable. Upon first use, I found that the patches have a lot of product on them which can make them a little slippery so I now gently swipe the patches on the edge of the pot using the provided spatula before applying to my under eyes and I then leave them on for around 20 minutes. Overall I think they’re lovely and refreshing and definitely help to de-puff and soothe the under-eye area, they’re also great to have in if you struggle during allergy season.

The Artless Glow Base SPF50+ PA+++ RRP £19* is a multi-use product that is perfect for anybody who likes glowy, glass-like skin. It can be used as a moisturiser, primer and a sunscreen and the lightweight formula contains anti-ageing properties that helps to even out your skin tone and leaves you with a radiant glow. I’ve used this on its own with a tiny bit of concealer for a ‘no makeup’ makeup look and also as a primer underneath my makeup and I really liked how it looked and lasted on my skin. It’s not super glowy but it’s enough. If you’re a fan of a glowy makeup look then you’ll like this.

The Black Tea Mask Pack RRP £19* was designed to be used as a quick pick-me-up, ideal for busy mornings. The gel mask is enriched with Black Tea and helps to soothe and decrease any puffiness and it also works well on breakout-prone skin due to its anti-bacterial properties. It’s also formulated with calming Centella Asiatica water and litchi fruit extract which has nourishing anti-oxidants properties. The soufflĂ©-like gel texture is super easy to apply, and you can scoop the product out using the spatula provided. It also smells really nice, it’s definitely one of the nicest smelling skin care products I’ve owned. The mask itself can be left on for 5-10 minutes and it really does what it says it's going to do and leaves your skin looking more plump and feeling refreshed.

Overall, I really like all three products I’ve tried and I’m looking forward to trying more from Heimish soon. I’ve already got my eyes on the All Clean Balm and the Matcha Biome Oil-Free Calming Gel Moisturiser. The face mask is definitely my favourite of the three products and I will 100% be repurchasing it. I also like how pretty and unique the boxes are that the products come in and because of this, I think the products would also make great gifts for any skincare lover in your life, especially if they’re into K-Beauty.
