Anatomicals Skincare Review

Today's post is about Anatomicals and reviewing the products they kindly sent out to me. I am a fan of Anatomicals already. I love the colourful packaging and the funny little names/descriptions of each product. I was given the opportunity to choose to some bits from their range and I chose products which I find would be suitable for me right now. I'm struggling to sleep at night even when I super tired and it's showing. My under eye circles are getting worse and the list goes on. So I chose the Crusin' For A Snoozing Sleep Balm, Puffy The Eye Bag Slayer Wake-up Under Eye Patches and the We'll Cool You Later Facial Spritz.

Puffy The Eye Bag Slayer Wake-up Under Eye Patches £6

"You know the blood curdling screams you hear in horror films when vampires sink their teeth into the white fleshed necks of virginal nieces of 18th century noblemen? Well, they're the same bloody curdling screams that can be heard when young ladies (as this is the 21st century, let's skip the virginal bit) who have bitten off more than they can chew party wise, stare in the mirror at their pale, drawn complexions and baggy, tired eyes. If you're on such young lady and have always wished there was a product to make you look less (un)dead, then these collagen under eye patches are the Count's (as in Dracula) cojones."

First all I love the name of these under eye patches. The packaging is nice and eye catching and the description literally made me LOL. I do use eye patches regularly and the ones I usually pick up are a little cheaper than these and I get four in a pack, rather than three. I popped these on one afternoon when my eyes were feeling tired (and my hair was looking like a birds nest, but let's forget about that) and left them on for 30 minutes as the directions state. They stuck on well and stayed in place for the 30 minutes too. I didn't see a dramatic improvement of my bags/dark circles but I do have really dark circles so I don't expect miracles obviously, but after using them my eyes did feel a lot more awake and alert. So yes, I would say they worked pretty well.

Cruising For A Snoozin' Sleep Balm £4

"You've had it coming to you for years, this is a sleep lesson you ain't ever going to forget. When we've finished with you, you're going to out for the count (with no counting of sheep). That'll teach you for being such an insomniac."

This was the product I was most excited to try, just because like I wrote at the beginning, I'm really struggling to sleep lately. The sleep balm is in a little 20g tin and is enriched with beeswax. The main ingredient is Lavender as it's the most efficient at promoting sleep, it also contains lemon oils.

For directions, it just says to rub into temples and pulse points.

So I've left it on my bedside table so that I remember to apply it and I've been doing as it says and also popping some of my wrists so that if I lay with my head on my arms then I can smell the lavender and it's definitely helped a lot and it also helps alleviate stress. I've been using it most nights since I received the package and you can't even tell that I've used it. So for £4, it's a bargain because it works and it's going to last for a while. 100% recommend if you have trouble sleeping like me.

We'll Cool You Again Later Facial Spritz £6

"At home. At work. On the bus. In a meeting. On holiday. In a club. At lunch. Even when you're just idly walking along the street. Wherever you are and whatever you're doing, we'll cool you. 24 hours a day if necessary, but we won't be forever texting or emailing you. That would be plain annoying and not in the least bit cool."

Again like the other products I was kindly sent, I love the packaging of this facial spritz. The purple and yellow look so nice together. I've used this most on days when I just feel like I need to refresh my no-makeup face. It definitely does the job well and smells lovely, thanks to the calming lavender and refreshing mint fragrance.

Directions: Close your eyes and directly spritz onto your face. Leave on or remove with cotton wool.

I would definitely buy this after I've used up this bottle. I love that it's a good size to pop in your handbag and is just really refreshing and calming too. Would be a great addition especially something for Summer.

So there's my Anatomicals review. I've really enjoyed trying out these products and I'm definitely going to be continuing using them all.
