Crownbrush | Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette, Lip Stain & Brushes Review

I was contacted by Crownbrush a few weeks ago and was asked if I had ever tried anything from the brand (which I hadn't) and if I would like to try out some products and review them on my blog. Of course I said yes! I was even asked what products I would be interested to review, which was very nice too.

A few days later, I got an email telling me my Crownbrush parcel was going to be arriving and I was basically like a kid at Christmas. I love testing out products from a brand I've never tried before and swatching everything as soon as they arrive, it's just the beauty blogger in me (lol).

Because I was told to email the products I would be most interested in reviewing, I didn't know which of the products to expect. I was definitely not expecting to receive so many. I was very kindly sent two lovely, professional looking brushes, an gorgeous Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette with a similar layout to the Morphe palettes and a pretty dusty rose lip stain.

The brushes I received are the C522 Pro Highlight Contour Brush (RRP £11.99) and the SS035 Medium Face Contour Brush (£9.59). They have both been working so well for me, I've been using the C522 angled brush for my contour/bronzer and it's definitely made applying contour so much easier, as you've probably noticed I do have a round face (basically like a moon lol) so I do find it quite hard to figure out where I should be applying my contour because of the lack of bone definition, thanks to my hamster-like cheeks. I've been testing out the SS035 Brush for both Contour and also applying foundation and it works great for both, it's great at stippling foundation so that it meshes to the skin, rather than looking like it's just sitting on top of it. I've also applied highlighter a few times with the SS035 Brush too and again, I've had no problems with it, so it a great multi-tasking kind of brush.

The Pro Lip Stain (RRP £9.99) I received is in the shade "Dusty Rose" and it's gorgeous, it's one of those colours you can get away with wearing all year round. It's exactly as the shade describes - a dusty rose pink/red and it's one of my current go-to lip colours right now, I can't get enough of it. It stays on so well, it literally does not budge (apart from oily foods/hot drinks obviously) and doesn't feel too drying on my lips which is always a good thing! especially if you're obsessed with liquid lipsticks like me.

Lastly, I received the gorgeous 35 Colour Rose Gold Eye Shadow Palette (RRP £22.99) and it's almost too pretty to use, almost. Of course as soon as I opened the palette I just had to swatch most of the shades because it's basically the perfect palette for me. It's made up of both matte and shimmer shades and as you can see by the swatches above, they eye shadows are very highly pigmented. I do think the shimmers are slightly more pigmented than the mattes but I find that a lot in most palettes if I'm being honest. Either way, it's a gorgeous palette, perfect if you like your warm browns, golds, pinks and there's even a few shades you can get away with wearing as a highlighter too, bonus! There's shades for more natural days or if you're going all out and getting your glam on. I think the shades would compliment all skin colours and even eye colours and I love it.

Overall, I've really happy with the quality of the products I was sent, the longevity of both the lip stain and the eye shadows from the palette is amazing and the brushes are like magic and seem to be working really well for me and I can finally contour with a little more confidence.

Have you ever tried any products from Crownbrush, if so what did you think?
