SENSSE Hot and Cool Ultrasonic Facial Bar Review

I have already talked about SENSSE on my blog already - I reviewed the SENSSEGo! Mini Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush* which you can read here (there's a cheeky giveaway too!). I also was very kindly sent the SENSSE Hot and Cool Ultrasonic Facial Bar* to try out and review too. I'm really getting into using more skincare devices this year and trying to figure out what works best for my skin.

So what can you use the SENSSE Ultrasonic Facial Bar for?
  • Energise and brighten skin - help to brighten your skin and give you a refresh and radiant glow
  • Soften and relax facial muscles - in hot mode to increase blood circulation, relax facial muscles, smooth wrinkles and also activate cell regrowth
  • Reduce redness and swelling  - relieve skin fatigue and help reduce redness and puffiness to help make your skin look lovely and glowy
  • Increase moisture absorption - Use the ultrasonic vibrations to help absorption of moisturiser whilst the cool mode closes pores and locks in your skin care product
The device heats up to a comfortable 42°C in hot mode and a refreshing 6°C in cool mode. I really like the added rose gold to both the device and the USB charger, it just makes it look so much more luxurious, pretty and gift worthy. The device clearly beeps when you change each setting which is a great added touch.

I've used the device for a few weeks and I really like it. It feels like my skin is having a good pamper whilst it's only taking up 5 minutes of the day. I tend to use it with my current favourite moisturiser which is The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream, I apply the moisturiser to my face and massage it in on the hot mode, I then switch it to vibrate to help my skin absorb the moisturiser and then to cool mode to lock in the product. I definitely feel like my skin is benefiting from using this as it feels a lot more smoother and also is looking more brighter too.

I also like using the cool mode around my eyes when I haven't slept well to take down some puffiness and it really works well for that and also just using the cool setting to refresh my skin, if I'm really warm, even though right now whilst I'm writing this, it's August and the weather looks like a bleak, gloomy Winter's day. I can also see the device helping for when a headache springs on from nowhere.

Whilst I don't think this is an essential beauty device and that you need it in your life ASAP, I do really like it and I can see and feel some difference after I've used it. I think it would make a great gift for someone who likes skincare and likes to have a pamper. It's RRP is £100 but right now it's available for £59.99 on amazon here.
