What I Got For Christmas This Year

What I Got For Christmas

Christmas seems to have gone by very quickly this year, even quicker than usual. I think because I was unwell over Christmas Eve/Day I ended up napping both days away but I still had a lovely few days nonetheless even though I did feel as if I was hacking up a lung (nice)

I know some people don't like these posts because they think it's a bit braggy or whatever but I personally love reading "What I Got For Christmas" blog posts and watching them too and I'm not writing this post to brag or anything I'm just really excited and also so grateful of the presents I received this year. So I thought I'd share with you my favourite gifts and believe me, it's been quite hard to narrow down because I literally love everything.

Also, side note: I haven't included all of the gifts featured in this post in the photo because some are on the bigger side and awkward to get in the photo Anyway moving on to the part that you're interested in... here's what I received!

Lenovo Tab 3 Tablet | So, I did actually receive my main Christmas present at the end of October because my crappy laptop decided to break down not once, but twice! I needed to keep up with blogging as I was working with a few brands at the time and I didn't want to fall behind so my parents decided to get the tablet early because I was mega-stressing out (life savers!) and it was also on offer at the time which was handy. If you're looking for a tablet, I've got to say I would 110% recommend this!

Soap and Glory Glowball | I love Soap and Glory but I wanted to try out a few different scents from their bath and body care range so when I saw this I was instantly drawn to it and added it to my Christmas wishlist right away because it contains my all-time fave body scrub The Breakfast Scrub along with other sweet-scented products which I've not tried out before.

LUSH Stuff | I received quite a few LUSH goodies this Christmas which is exciting! I received Rose Jam Shower Gel because it's my all-time fave shower gel, The Magic Of Christmas Bubble Wand, Shoot For The Stars Bath Bomb because again it's a fave, Dirty Springwash Shower Gel which smells bloody gorgeous and I also received the adorable Pip The Penguin Gift Set which includes Butterball and Shoot For The Stars and the penguin knot wrap.

AVON Amari Elixir Perfume | I tried to buy this a few months ago but it went out of stock so quickly so I was so happy to open it on Christmas Day. It's one of those perfumes which smells nicer once it's settled a little and gives off more of a sweeter scent. I really like the bottle design too.

Cat Slipper Socks | I also received these adorable cat socks which obviously I love and just had to include in my favourites.

Lee Stafford Rainbow Shine Bubble Waver Wand | I really like wearing my hair curly but I've kind of got bored of it lately so I wanted to try out something else. Usually, it takes a day or two for my curly hair to drop and go wavy and by then it needs washing obviously, so I was so happy to receive this bubble waver wand so my hair looks a little different.

Real Techniques Multi-Tech Large Brush | I love a Real Techniques Brush so I can't wait to give this a whirl!

The Body Shop British Rose Set | The British Rose scent from The Body Shop is one of my favourites. I have already got the shower gel and body butter but I do use them a lot but it's nice to be stocked up with your fave products.

L'Oreal Paradise Mascara | I've been wanting this mascara for a while but because I have quite the stash of mascaras right now I didn't really want to spend any more money on them. So I decided to just add it to my Christmas list and see if I receive it or not. I really hope it lives up to the hype as I haven't tried it out yet!

"Hello Beautiful" Trinket Dish | If you read my recent blog post about Stocking Filler Ideas then you'll know I love trinket dishes and I have them scattered about the house because I tend to wear quite dainty, minimalistic jewellery which is easy to lose so this trinket dish will have a home in the house soon. (I still haven't put everything away yet, oops).

Lancome Mr.Big Gift Set | I'm so excited to try out the Lancome Monsieur Big mascara as I heard so many great things about it. I also really like that this set has a Mini Matte Shaker in the shade Pink Power as I've wanting to try one out for a while but they are pretty pricey. It also comes with a Mini Khol Eyeliner.

AVON Mark Matte Lipstick - Whipped Latte | I did drop a hint to my mum that I liked the look of this lipstick just before Christmas but it was still a nice surprise to receive it. It's kind of similar to the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in London but slightly less orangey and pinker - it's very pretty.

Being by Sanctuary Cake Me Crazy Bauble Set | I've only recently started trying out Being and I haven't tried out their lip balms or shower gels. I have tried the lip balm since I received this and omg, it tastes/smells like sweet (but not sickly) cake which I'm all about.

I Heart Makeup Chocolate & Peaches Palette | I really want the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette because they are just my kind of colours but because I can't justify the price tag and I think if I had put it on my Christmas wishlist my dad may have fainted (haha!) I decided to ask for the dupe instead which is so similar but just has 2 or 3 shades missing which doesn't matter to me personally. I also adore the packaging of the Chocolate Palettes from I Heart Makeup.

So there are my favourite things I received this Christmas! Any other beauty products which I received will more than likely feature on my blog at some point along with the products featured in this post too. If you've written/filmed a What I Got For Christmas then do leave me your link below!
