My Go-To Minimal Makeup Picks

-This post contains PR Samples/Gifted items but no paid content. All opinions are my own-
I am more of a minimal makeup kind of girl myself so I thought I'd talk about my current go-to products when I'm having a super minimal makeup and also talk about which products I'm planning on using in the Spring months too as I've picked up some new products recently and I also am planning on going back to some old fave products too.

After seeing Emma's Rectangle feature the new L'Oreal Infallible More Than Concealer in one of the latest videos and saying in the video that she thinks it's a good affordable dupe to the Tarte Shape Tape I instantly went out and picked it up for myself. I opted for the lightest shade Porcelain which is actually too pale for me which I don't think has ever happened before but the next darker shade Eggshell was out of stock at the time which is a bit annoying but oh well. However the product itself is fab and it has great coverage and it can even be used as a base alone. It is quite drying so if you have a drier skin type you may not like it much but I think it suits my oily/combination skin well. However if I decide to opt for a "proper" base than I'll tend to use either the Glossier Skin Tint in shade G12 or the It Cosmetics CC Cream which I'd been lusting over for ages and I recently decided to bite the bullet and just buy it. I do really like it but I don't think I'd rush out and buy it again in a hurry as I feel like it could be improved. I personally think the shade Fair isn't that fair and it also oxidises slightly too. However once it's settled a little I think it looks nice and it does look good on my skin and doesn't cling onto dry patches but I don't know how it will be when the weather gets warmer though as it is quite dewy on my oilier skin type.
For my brows I just pop on either the Glossier Boy Brow in Brown or Benefit Gimme Brow in the shade #3. I think they are both quite similar but I feel like the Boy Brow has a better staying power as it feels more like a pomade upon application but they both do the job well. I've recently got a brand new tube of the L'Oreal Paradise Mascara and I've come to the conclusion that it's definitely my fave mascara. It's supposed to be a dupe of the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara but I actually prefer L'Oreal's offering as I find the Too Faced mascara flakes quite badly.
For a basic flush of colour I'll use either my go-to Glossier Cloud Paints in either Dusk or Puff or I'll use my Benefit Gold Rush blusher which gives me a peachy glowy look which is perfect for the upcoming Spring season. I also like to sometimes add a tiny amount of my Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand as it's literally just like adding a glow to your skin without looking glittery or anything.

For Lips I've been loving the Dr.Lipp Lip Tints* which I was sent recently. I've been opting for the Elderberry Pigment quite a lot which looks like a plum purple shade on me but I also have the Sweet Potato Pigment which is more of a pink shade which I think will look lovely in Spring months to add a pop of colour to my minimal makeup look. They both feel so comfortable to wear and just look really pretty. I also like to use my all time fave which is the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick or the Too Faced Peach Oil Lip Gloss in the shade Papa Don't Peach when I'm wearing more of a minimal makeup look just because they are both quite natural nude shades.

Have I mentioned any of your fave products in this post? Let me know in the comments!
