Trying NEEK Vegan-Friendly Skincare

-This post contains PR samples/Gifted items but no paid content. All opinions are my own-
I've recently been trying out Aussie brand NEEK Skin Organics skincare products who are vegan friendly and contain no nasties in any of their products. I have seen their lipsticks floating about on my insta feed a lot lately which btw look gorgeous and I'm definitely going to have to try out soon. But I didn't realise that they offer skincare products too so when I got an email about their skincare products I was quite surprised. They currently have just two products available in their skincare range which are the Cleanser and the Moisturiser which both come in minimal but cute packaging both declaring that the products are "tested on sisters not animals".

My skin has been loving the NEEK Face Cleanser RRP £14.50* so much. Because it's gentle it doesn't feel like it strips your skin and it works great as a second cleanse. It's quite a watery gel-like cleanser so a little product goes a long way which I like and it also smells gorgeous! I personally feel like it smells like something used in a spa. Whilst using it my skin hasn't been breaking out as much as usual which is always a good thing and I love that it has bladderwrack and wild peach extract which are both anti-ageing properties. As I've mentioned already I'm almost 25 and apparently when you turn 25 you should start introducing anti-ageing skin care into your skin care routine and I have already started to use a few products which promote anti-ageing. I also think it's affordable at £14.50 and I  shall definitely be picking it up again. My usual go-to daily facial cleanser is the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser which is what I've been using religiously since the beginning of last year however I have been reaching for the NEEK Face Cleanser more recently and I love it!

The Face Moisturiser RRP £18* is described as a lightweight, non greasy moisturiser which contains hyaluronic acid which attracts and holds water, plumps and nourishes your skin and it also contains antioxidants and aloe vera to soothe your skin. It's basically a soothing, anti-ageing and anti-blemish miracle in a tube! I totally agree with the fact that it's lightweight and non-greasy which is always a must when it comes to moisturising because I find that heavy creams tend to not agree with my oilier skin type. It works great as a base or primer before makeup too and like the face cleanser it smells gorgeous and spa-like. I would say if you have super dry skin that you might need something a little more intense to use a few times per week but this would be a great daily moisturiser.

Overall I love both of the NEEK skincare products I've tried and I hope to see more from them in the skincare department soon because so far I'm very impressed and excited to see whatever comes next from them.
