Mother's Day Gift Guide - My Twelve Top Picks *

-This post is in collaboration with Card Factory, all opinions are my own-
Mother's Day is just around the corner and I personally always like to make sure I'm not rushing out last minute or paying for next day delivery a day or two before the actual day. So in this post I'm sharing some lovely things which I've come across whilst I've been on the hunt for a few things for my own mum for Mother's Day which you might be interested in purchasing for your own mother or grandmother.

1. Sanctuary Spa Let Go & Unwind Gift Set £10 / 2. HoMedics Luxury Foldaway FootSpa £39.99 in Boots / 3. Card Factory Mother's Day Cards & Gifts starting from 79p

When it comes to luxury bath and body care gifts I always turn to Sanctuary Spa just because their gifting section is always spot on and their prices are still affordable even though the products are luxurious. Which is why I decided to add in one of their gift sets in this post. The Let Go & Unwind Gift Set available from Boots contains a body scrub, body wash, body souffle in the signature scent and also a shower lily to buff and clean your skin. Another product which I thought sounded fab is the HoMedics Foldaway Footspa because who doesn't love a foot spa? I've never heard of a foldaway one before - what a genius idea! I have to put my bulky foot spa on top of my wardrobe because it takes up quite a lot of space however I wouldn't be without it. When it comes to buying a card no matter what the occasion is I'll more than likely will pop into Card Factory or shop online. There is a card or gift for everyone at Card Factory and I've always thought that their prices are super affordable and accessible for all. You can also personalise cards and gifts online to make it even more special for your recipient!

4. Matalan Slogan Canvas Makeup Bag £5 / 5. YSL Touche Eclat Wake Up and Glow Set £26 in Boots 6. George at Asda Striped Paperbag Waist Cropped Leg Pyjama Bottoms £8

How lovely is the canvas makeup bag I came across on Matalan? It's such a steal for £5 too! I just had to put it on my top picks list. For a more luxurious gift I also came across the YSL gift set which includes the cult classic Touche Eclat Concealer in shade 01, a mini Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara and Top Secrets Instant Moisture Glow. The majority of my pyjamas are from George at Asda and if I buy anyone pyjamas for their birthday or for Christmas then they'll most likely be from George at Asda too. I find them to be great quality (most of the time) and a great price and you can click and collect any clothing to your local store for free. I really liked the look of the Paperbag Waist Cropped Leg Pyjamas which also have frills at the bottom of the leg - so cute! I may have to pick up these for myself as they look like they would be great for the when the weather gets a little warmer.

7. Matalan Mother's Day Slippers Set £12 / 8. Yankee Candle - Blush Bouquet Large Jar £23.99 / 9. Next Just Pink 100ml EDP £14

You really can't go wrong with buying slippers for a gift, can you? I know my mum would love the Moccasin styled slippers set from Matalan in a pretty pink colour for the occasion. Another lovely idea as a main gift is a Yankee Candle obviously it depends on scent preference and if you know which scents your mum likes or buys often but I came across the Blush Bouquet Large Jar Candle which I think is new to their candle range but don't quote me on that. But I thought it sounded lovely for Mother's Day. Instead of splashing out on a super expensive perfume Next offer some great perfumes (some which are close dupes to the more expensive brands i.e there's one called Flower which I really like and I think we all know which perfume it's supposed to be duping). I also really like the scent Just Pink and I think it's a scent that most people will like too and you get a whopping 100ml bottle for £14 which is a complete bargain.

10. Matalan Mum Slogan Wine Glass £4 / 11. Joanie Venus Green Floral Midi Dress £40 / 12. Pixi Best of Rose Travel Gift Set £20 in Boots and ASOS

I don't know if my mum would find me buying her a designated wine glass as nice and thoughtful or just offensive if I'm being honest haha. But I came across the Mum Slogan Wine Glass and thought I'd add it on this list because it's only £4. So you could maybe buy the slogan wine glass and a bottle of her fave wine for Mother's Day (I think they had one's which said "Nan" as well). Or maybe you could buy a lovely dress from Joanie and then take your mum out for a meal or an afternoon cream tea for two to celebrate Mother's Day together. Lastly is the gorgeous "Best of Rose" gift set from Pixi which includes travel sized versions of their Rose Cream Cleanser, Rose Tonic and Rose Flash Balm which are all super nourishing and soothing to the skin and also suitable for all skin types. Both me and my mum love pretty much anything from Pixi and we have totally opposite skin types but I thought I'd share their Best of Rose Gift Set as it just sounds lovely (The Rose Tonic is one of mine and my mums fave products from Pixi too!).
