8 Staple Pieces I Want In My Spring/Summer Wardrobe *

-This post is in collaboration with Quiz Clothing, all opinions are my own-
I really like Spring and Summer but for someone who is plus size and doesn't like to show off her arms, tummy area and legs it can be quite hard to shop for clothes in the warmer seasons. I have started to wear more dresses lately just to try and get used to having my legs out in front of strangers more. I do have chunky legs, I always joke that they are basically like logs but they've always been on the chunkier side so I'm just like "whatever" now. If you don't like the look of my legs then just look away haha. So in today's post I'm talking about 8 staple pieces I want to put into my Spring/Summer wardrobe this year.

Quiz Curve White Navy and Red Je Suis T-Shirt £16.99 / Missguided Plus Oversized Denim Jacket in Blue £45 / ASOS Design Jally Wide Fit Two Pack Espadrilles £20 / River Island Plus Mini Skirt in Mid Wash £32

I love a stripe t-shirt and I also love and own many slogan t-shirts too so when I came across the Je Suis T-shirt at Quiz I obviously mentally added it to my basket for a later date. Quiz Clothing have so many nice plus size tops right now from casual wear to smart looking dressy tops too and I'm definitely going to be placing an order with them soon. For cooler days I tend to wear one of my denim jackets but I really liked the look of the Missguided one I came across. It looks nice and oversized and I like the distressed look of it too. I know they're not to everyone's taste but I find Espadrilles really comfortable and the Two Pack I found on ASOS is a bargain. One pair is just plain back and the other pair have a cute palm tree design on them. I'm also still on the lookout for a skirt which doesn't make me look bigger or isn't super long on me and I've been failing miserably so far. I really like the look of the River Island one and with it being a Mini Skirt it won't be super long on me like basic length ones are as I'm only 5'3 (on a good day).

Pink Clove Wrap Dress in Dalmatian Spot Print £24 / Quiz Curve Navy and Cream Heart Print Top £24.99 / Pull&Bear Faux Leather Flat Sandals in Tan £19.99 / New Look Curve Floral Joggers in Black Pattern £15.99

I'm really into wrap dresses right now (as long as they fit me nicely on the boob area!) and I think they actually suit my shape too and they're comfortable when I'm feeling bloated. I really like the look of the Pink Clove Dalmatian Spot Print dress and I think it'd look nice paired with a denim jacket on more casual days too. But you could also dress it up easily too. I also came across another pretty top whilst browsing Quiz Clothing which is the Curve Navy and Cream Heart Print Top which I think would like nice if you need to dress up smartly for an occasion or even if you have an office job or something. It's also that time of the year when I become a bit obsessed with Tan coloured sandals. So far I've found a few I like but I think the Pull&Bear ones are my fave looking ones right now. They look comfortable and would suit a lot of outfits. Lastly are the New Look Curve Floral Joggers which I think I may cave and buy really soon. I love these type of joggers in the warmer weather because they are comfortable, thin (but not too thin) but also look cute.

  1. Love some of these pieces, particularly love the dalmatian spot dress. It'd look so good at a festival!
