Beauty Products I've Been Loving This Winter

I thought I would talk about some beauty products that I've been really enjoying using over the past few months in today's post. There's a mixture of hair care, body care, skincare and I've even found a new fave toothpaste! Also let me know if you've discovered any new products or rediscovered some old favourites this Winter in comments!

Towards the end of last year when I knew I was going to have to pluck up the courage and visit the dentist about the pain I'd been dealing with on and off last year (which I then found out is because of an impacted wisdom tooth that I've got to get removed, yay...) I felt a little anxious because I realised my teeth were quite stained which I'm guessing is because of my love for a strong cup of tea haha. So I picked up the Beverly Hills Formula Perfect White Gold Toothpaste because I used to really like the Charcoal one a while ago, but then my teeth became more sensitive so I switched to Sensodyne. The Perfect White Gold toothpaste is designed to remove stains which is why I chose to pick it over over the Charcoal one and it's definitely helped! My teeth look a lot whiter than they did, I still use my Sensodyne toothpaste but I kind of switch them around depending on how sensitive my teeth are feeling.

The Nivea MicellAIR Skin Breathe Professional Exfoliating Face Wash* is such a great product to use if you have quite dull skin. I've also found that it helps with my texture a little too which I'm guessing is down to the Lactic Acid in the product's formula. I use it more like an exfoliator instead of a face wash, just because I'm trying to use up some of my cleansers at the moment which you can read more about in this blog post but I can literally see results straight after using the MicellAIR Exfoliating Face Wash, my skin looks fresher and more glowy. It's a great little quick fix.

I've also been loving using the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor lately. I used to use it years ago and I don't really know why I stopped. It smells lovely and minty but not in an overpowering way and it just really helps with the overall condition of my hair. I'm definitely going to continue to use from now on. I kind of use it like a regular conditioner as opposed to a hair treatment because it's quite lightweight so it doesn't weigh down my hair.

LUSH Dream Cream Hand and Body Lotion has been such a lifesaver this Winter because I've been dealing with quite itchy skin, particularly on my legs and hands so when my usual moisturisers aren't helping with the dryness or itchiness on certain areas then I will pop some Dream Cream on instead and it's so soothing and hydrating. It's definitely one of my go-to products when my skin is acting up.

I was sent a couple of products from Influenster to try out and review on the Influenster app towards the end of last year and the Matrix Total Results Miracle Creator 20* was definitely the standout product out of the three. It's a multi-tasking spray which helps with frizz, heat defense and prevents split ends. It also has a lovely coconut scent which I'm a big fan of in general and it definitely makes my hair feel softer and look shinier.

Another hair product which I picked up around the beginning of winter is the AVON Moroccan Argan Oil Nourishing Hair Serum which is something I used to use yearsss ago. Before I chopped my hair shorter, my ends were really dry, so I was just using this hair serum on the ends just to add some moisture and smooth everything out. It smells so nice and I've continued using it on the ends and I think it's a great extra step to help reduce breakage.

Lastly is the Tropic Eye Work Rejuvenating Serum* which you may have noticed isn't in the photo above. It's because I've literally lost it somewhere in the house and I don't really want to spend £28 on another one when I know there's one in the house. But it is really good at getting rid of dark under-eye circles as well as cooling and refreshing the area and I would 100% recommend it if you're looking for a new eye serum.
