Christmas Gift Guide 2021 | Main Gift & Stocking Filler Ideas

I can’t believe I’m sitting here writing my first Christmas gift guide of 2021. I feel like I say this every year but how is it almost December?! My first gift guide is going to be about main gift and stocking filler ideas and I feel like there’s a decent mixture of things in this blog post if you’re stuck for ideas.

So, first of all, I’m going to be talking about some gifts which I think would be perfect as stocking fillers…

You can’t go wrong with Burt’s Bees at Christmas and their Christmas range this year is as lovely as always. Their Christmas Crackers RRP £8.99 each* contain a Lip Balm and a Hand Salve which are both perfect for the winter season and obviously the fact that they both come inside a mini cracker is super cute. Available from Burt’s Bees.

The Sanctuary Spa Mini Glow Duo Gift Set RRP £6* contains their Body Scrub and their Wet Skin Moisture Miracle, both of which are fab products for a little pamper session and they can both be used in correspondence to each other. It’s a great way to introduce someone to Sanctuary Spa as well.

Missguided have launched their first unisex scent this year named Real Babe and it’s definitely my most favourite scent from Missguided so far and I’ve tried quite a few of them over the years! I also really like the colourful packaging throughout the range. It has notes of citrus and pink peppercorn which mingle with frosted pineapple, along with heart notes of fresh jasmine and ambrette with a dry amber musk and tonka base. For a stocking filler or hamper you could pick up the Mini 10ml EDP RRP £10* or the Body Mist RRP £8*. Available from Missguided, Superdrug and ASOS.

I thought I’d pop in the LUSH Twilight Shower Jelly RRP £5.50 because I just think it’s a bit more fun than say, a bottle of Snow Fairy (unless that’s something you’ve put on your Christmas wishlist for this year of course!) and it’s really good at helping you to relax as the scent lingers on your skin a little after your shower. I just think it’s a great product to buy for someone who you know needs to just relax and maybe also for someone who only has a shower and not a bath so they’re not able to use a bath bomb or bubble bar.

Paul & Joe are a brand that I’ve finally got around to trying this year and I’ve been really enjoying their products and also their gorgeous packaging designs. Their Silky Hand Cream RRP £11* would make a perfect stocking filler and it even smells of Frankincense. Perfect! Available from Beauty Bay and FeelUnique.

I also think candles go down at Christmas as well. I tend to treat myself to a Christmas Yankee Candle or two this time of the year and this year I’ve picked up the Christmas Eve candle and I also decided to pick up a couple of the Christmas wax melts as well which smell delightful. I've started to buy my Yankee Candles from Just My Look as they tend to be cheaper.

And now onto the main gifts…

First up is the Sanctuary Spa Signature Showstopper Gift Set* which as I’m writing this is only £20 on Superdrug(!!) and it’s absolutely jam-packed with products and it comes in a lovely heart-shaped box that can be reused too. Inside you get a Body Wash (250ml), Body Scrub (250ml), Body Lotion (75ml), Hand Cream (75ml), Shower Oil (75ml), Salt Scrub (60g) all in the well-known signature fragrance and you also get their Moisture Burst Face Wash (30ml), Sleep Mist (50ml), Heel Balm (75ml) and a shower puff. I think it’s an absolute steal!

For any makeup lover in your life you could check out the Stila Holiday Bounty Stay All Day Eye & Brow Set RRP £42* which contains 4 full sized products (worth £69!) these are the Stay All Day Mascara, Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Intense Black, Stay All Day Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Stingray and the Stay All Day Waterproof Brow Colour in Medium. It also comes with a strap which makes the bag useable as well which I thought was pretty handy!

I’ve got to mention Daisy London in this gift guide as I think that their jewellery is just stunning and I really feel like there’s something for everyone. I recently added two more of their necklaces to my jewellery collection which you can read more about here and they’ve already become firm favourites.

The Grace Cole White Nectarine & Pear Luxury Travel Set RRP £16* which is available from Sol Beauty not only smells gorgeous but it would make a great gift for someone who you know will be travelling in the New Year. It contains a Hand and Nail Cream, Bath and Shower Gel, Hand and Body Lotion and a Refreshing Body Mist and comes in a handy travel case.

I don’t know if it’s an age thing or what but I really like receiving new Pyjamas and Slippers for Christmas now. I just think it’s a nice gift that you can’t really go wrong with, there’s nothing better than having a nice hot shower or bath and putting new pyjamas on. I buy my pyjamas and slippers for both myself and gifts from George at Asda, TU at Sainsbury’s, ASOS or Nutmeg at Morrison’s.

The Nivea Natural Indulgence Gift Set* would be perfect for the natural loving product lover in your life. The recyclable box is packed with some fab products to keep your recipient pampered from tip to toe. It includes their Naturally Good Honeysuckle Scent Organic Oil Infused Shower Gel (300ml) which smells lovely fyi!, the Naturally Good Organic Aloe Vera Body Lotion (350ml), Naturally Good Aloe Vera Sheet Mask which is made from biodegradable fibre, Naturally Good Organic Aloe Vera Micellar Face Wash (140ml), Hydro Care Caring Lip Balm, Soft Moisturising Cream (75ml) and a Soft Bamboo Face Cleansing Cloth. Nivea have also kindly given me a 10% off code for my readers to use across the whole of their website which is valid until the 31st December. The code is XMASTREAT10

I’m popping the Nintendo Switch in this gift guide as I just think it’s a great game console for all ages. There’s also the Switch Lite which is cheaper but is handheld only and the latest addition which is the Switch OLED which is perfect for people who want to play in handheld more often as the picture is crisper and clearer than ever. For games I’d highly recommend: Animal Crossing: New Horizons (obvs!), Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, Stardew Valley and House Flipper.

My final main gift idea is another one that I don’t know if it’s just an age thing or whenever it is a good, practical gift that most people would like. But I really like getting new bedding at Christmas. I’ve already dropped some hints on which bedding sets I like this year including this woodland design one from George at Asda. I also quite like Matalan and Dunelm for bedding as well.
