Things I've Been Loving Recently...

It’s been a while since I did a favourites post, so I thought it would be the perfect time to talk about what I’ve been loving recently and by recently I mean any time between my last favourites post back in April to now lol. I’ve got skincare, hair care, makeup and even a new fave chocolate brand to talk about, some have been favourites for literally months now and some are pretty new discoveries.

First up is the Schwarzkopf Got2B Oil-Licious Tame and Shine Styling Oil which I’ve been using for a while now, it contains Argan oil and can be used on wet hair, damp hair and dry hair. It makes your hair so soft and shiny and it also smells really nice as well. If you’re looking for an affordable hair oil then get this! I usually pick it up from Superdrug or Boots.

I recently picked up the Bondi Sands Eye Spy Eye Cream after seeing quite a few people I follow on insta rave about the Bondi Sands Skincare range and now I understand why. Not only is the range affordable and the packaging aesthetically pleasing, but the products also seem to really work. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this eye cream can make you look like you’ve had your full 8 hours sleep, if not more. It contains Vitamin C and Green Coffee Beans along with illuminating particles which brighten your under eyes. It’s definitely a must have ‘fake it til you make it’ eye cream! Click here to browse the full Bondi Sands Skincare range. I’m already planning on picking up the Daydream Whipped Moisturiser and the Bondi Babe Clay Mask to try out soon.

The Fenty Skin Cookies N Clean Whipped Face Mask has quickly become my go-to face mask, particularly when my skin is acting up. It contains the likes of Salicylic Acid and Encapsulated Charcoal which bursts upon application when you massage it in. It also doesn’t dry out your skin like some masks do because it has a whipped formula. I would even go as far as to say it’s my favourite product from Fenty Skin out of the products I’ve tried so far and I would recommend it if you have oily skin in particular, however, it is suitable for all skin types.

Check out my thoughts on other Fenty products I've tried here.

I’ve also been taking the BeYou Plant-Picked Hair, Skin and Nails Gummies* and I’ve definitely seen an improvement, especially with my hair and nails. I’ll be honest I wasn’t all that bothered about my hair growing any quicker as it’s in need of a cut anyway (I don’t know whether to go with my usual style or something different though) but I’ve also noticed that my roots which usually get greasy quite quickly, haven’t been getting greasy as quickly which is great! My nails have been growing fast and are much stronger than usual. I also like the taste of the gummies with them being Raspberry flavour, they literally just taste like sweets. You can get 10% off your first BeYou order with the code ATBK10 here

Because my nails have been growing faster and are in better health, I’ve been using the Lottie London Gel Nail Polish in Speedy Top Coat as a quick way to make my nails look nice and glossy without having to faff around with a full on manicure or applying coloured nail polish if I don’t feel like it if that makes sense lol. I really like the Lottie London polishes, I have a few now and they’re good for the price. I actually prefer them over Essie nail polishes and they're cheaper.

I’ve also been loving the Collection Gorgeous Glow Filter Finish which you can use as a primer or illuminator. It makes your skin look so smooth and well, filtered (shock). I like to mix it in with my foundation to give me a nice, healthy glowy base. I will definitely be repurchasing this once I've run out!

As I’ve said before in these kind of posts, I really like vintage-inspired tourist kind of T-shirts and when I came across the Grand Canyon T-Shirt from George, I had to buy it as I thought it would look nice with jeans/jeggings and a checkered shacket for the Autumn months. The sizing is a little off as I purposely sized up so it’s more oversized, however, it fits like my usual size.

Lastly is Tony’s Chocolonely Milk Caramel Sea Salt Chocolate Bar which I’m literally obsessed with. It’s so moreish which yes, is a problem but I highly recommend giving it a try if you’re bored of the usual chocolate brands available in supermarkets. If the Caramel Sea Salt doesn't sound like your cup of tea then they have other flavours to choose from as well.
