Korres Wild Rose Skincare

Korres are a brand that I've not really explored properly and I don't really know why. I've never actively gone out to buy anything from Korres but I've tried some products because they've been in beauty boxes I've been subscribed to. All of the things I've tried so far from Korres have been lovely and I've never had any issues with them. I recently received some of their Wild Rose Brightening skincare range and we all know I'm a sucker for skincare, so I thought I would write a post about my thoughts on the three products from the Wild Rose range that I've been using for the month and if I would recommend the range.

The Wild Rose Exfoliating Cleanser RRP £18* is probably the product which I was most looking forward to trying out as I do have quite a awkward skin type with it being both oily and dry at this time of the year and I am a fan of a exfoliating product which doesn't strip my skin and make it even worse (I'm looking at you St. Ives Apricot Face Scrub - remember that old school classic that just made our skin worse back in the day?). The Exfoliating Cleanser claims to be suitable for all skin types and it isn't too scrubby, in a good way, but it does make you feel like you've unclogged any blocked pores and cleansed your skin well. I have been using this 2-3 times a week and my skin has definitely looked a little more brighter and on the glowy side, so it's a thumbs up from me!

The 24 Hour Brightening Cream for Combination Skin RRP £20* worried me at first because I tend to find products that come in fancy looking jars tend to be more luxurious and most of the time, that means they're usually thick and too heavy for my skin. Thankfully the Brightening Cream isn't super heavy. I have only been using it when my skin is feeling on the drier side rather than using it daily but it's been a nice treat to my skin and it's good to be able to give it some extra hydration whilst my skin tries to decide whether it wants to be oily or dry. I will continue to use it when I feel my skin needs it, but I'm not really sure if it's something I'd rush out and buy again, however I do think it's a nice product. I think if your skin type is more on the drier side then your skin will love this and it smells heavenly too. If you're a fan of rose scents like myself, this is definitely one for you. It would also make a good skin care treat for someone at Christmas!

I've only used the Brightening and Line Smoothing Face and Eyes Serum RRP £30* a couple of times because for some reason I just found that the scent seems a little too sweet and sickly to me, which is strange when it's still in the Wild Rose range. I don't know if it's just me, but it smells a lot more sweeter when you smell it against the other two products. Thankfully, my mum has taken it off my hands so it won't go to waste and she does seem to be enjoying using it.

Have you tried out any skincare products from Korres?
