An Introduction To JUSTICE Professional Haircare

As I said earlier in the year, I really want to talk more about hair care on my blog because I like to use a variety of different products on my hair to try and tame the frizz, add some volume at the roots but also try and stop it from getting greasy at the roots too. Over the past few weeks, I've been testing out three products from Australian brand JUSTICE Professional by Just Cuts hair salon. They are cruelty-free, paraben-free and you can expect salon-quality products at an affordable price. Sounds pretty great, right?

First up is the Cool Mint Conditioner RRP £6.99* which I've got to say right away smells lovely! With it being minty, it's a great conditioner to use to wake you up first thing in the morning if you just need a pick-me-up. I would say it's more of a soft mint than a strong mint so don't worry, it won't make your eyes feel like they're burning whilst using it haha. The formula is lightweight and on the liquidy side but I personally like that because it doesn't weigh your hair down. The Peppermint present aims to stimulate and rebalance the scalp and the Rosemary and Lemon extracts produce antioxidants which help to give you a healthy scalp as well as adding strength to your hair. Overall I do like the conditioner, I really want to try it with the Shampoo too. However, I do find that my hair seems a tiny bit frizzier than normal after using it which is kind of strange. But I just make sure to use an anti-frizz kind of product before blowdrying and it sorts it out. I also feel like I can get an extra day out of my hair when I use this conditioner so the peppermint must really work to help rebalance the scalp.

Next is the Smooth & Groom Wearable Treatment RRP £9.99* which they describe as a daily wearable treatment for silky smooth, no frizz results. Hydrolysed Silk delivers effective moisture and strengthening qualities to dull, dry, frizzy hair. It can also be applied to both damp and dry hair. I'll be honest I'm still on the fence about this product. I really love the smell, it's really fruity and the scent sticks around in your hair for hours after using it. However, the product seems to leave a slightly sticky feeling in my hair, even when I apply it in damp hair and in very small amounts which I'm obviously not a fan of. I don't know if its because I prefer cream styling products usually and I would say that the Smooth & Groom Wearable Treatment is somewhere between a gel and cream.

Lastly is the Treatment Mask Reconstructor* which once again smells really nice with a fresh, floral scent. I've been applying it to my mid-lengths and ends just because conditioning masks tend to be a bit too much on my roots and just makes my hair get greasy quicker than normal. After the first use, I could definitely see and feel a difference in my hair, it looked healthier and even shinier as well as looking and feeling super smooth too.  So it's safe to say I'm a big fan and it's currently in my go-to hair care basket in my bathroom and that's where it's staying for the foreseeable.

Overall I would say the Treatment Mask Reconstructor is my favourite product out of the three I've tried just because I saw results after the first use and I'll be honest, I am a sucker for a hair mask in general too. I also really like the Cool Mint Conditioner and the fact that I think it stops my hair getting so greasy and gives me an extra day between a hair wash.
