7 Beauty Products I've Been Loving Recently

I thought I'd start doing round-up beauty favourites again on my blog but not on a monthly basis, just when I feel like I have a nice selection of products that I've been enjoying and want to talk about why I like them. So here are seven products that I've been really enjoying using recently!

First up is the LUSH Honey I Washed The Kids Body Spray which I picked up in a recent LUSH haul that was kind of a treat to myself. I really like the Honey I Washed The Kids Shower Gel and I've been using it for years, so I thought it was about time that I try the body spray and I love it! It's a bit sweeter than the shower gel but still really nice. You only need to use 2-3 sprays and it lasts all day, so even though it does sound a little pricey at £20 for a body spray, it will definitely last a while.

I've also been really enjoying the new Dermalogica ClearStart FlashFoliant Clearing Brightening Foam*. It's so easy to use and it kind of melts into a water-like consistency on your skin once you apply it and I do feel like my skin looks more even and stays clearer than usual when I'm using it daily or every other day. So I would recommend it if you're looking for something to brighten and clear up your skin. You can read my full review here.

Another fave that I discovered last month is the Estrid Razor* which I talked about in this blog post. I've been trying to use more eco-friendly products but without breaking the bank and the Estrid Starter Kit was only £7.95 which includes 2 five-bladed razors, the handle and a shower hook. It is a subscription service (but you can cancel whenever) and you can opt to have four new razors sent to you every month, two months or three months depending on your preference. The razor itself glides that smoothly that I honestly didn't think it had done anything when I first used it but it definitely does work. I've also not been suffering from as many ingrown hairs that I'm usually prone to no matter what shaving product or razor I use. So I'd highly recommend Estrid. They're cruelty-free and vegan too!

Something which has changed the nail polish game for my clumsy self is the NailPad* which is exactly as it's described. It's a little mini table-like pad with a potholder for your nail polish and it just really makes painting your nails so much easier. It's travel-friendly and it also has a pull-out leg to secure the station between the legs so that you can paint in comfort when you're out and about too. I think for £12.95 it's a bargain, especially if you've ruined many soft furnishings due to nail polish spillages like myself haha.

I've also been really enjoying the Lee Stafford Hair Apology Intensive Care Power Shots* which are basically little biodegradable capsules filled with serum. You only get 15 capsules in a pot for £14.99 but Boots do tend to have deals on Lee Stafford like 1/3 off or 3 for 2 so it works out cheaper that way. The serum contains Keratin and Silk so it makes your hair look and feel super smooth and soft and the serum also has heat protecting properties as well.

Another product that I popped in my recent LUSH Haul is the LUSH Mask of Magnaminty Face Mask which used to be my all-time fave face mask before I discovered Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask from The Body Shop (which I've actually become allergic to for some reason?!). It's definitely a face mask for more of an oilier spot-prone skin type. It works really well at drawing out any active spots without drying out the skin and it's a great face mask to wake you up as well with it being super minty. I've definitely fallen back in love with it and I've been using it quite a lot recently.

Lastly is the Imperial Leather Moonlit Skies & White Cashmere Bath Soak which I saw quite a lot of people talk about on insta stories recently. Did I need any more bath products? Definitely not. But I was just intrigued and I was also feeling super stressed so I was opting for anything that claimed to be relaxing. It honestly smells so nice! Most products that have been made to help you relax tend to be scented with lavender and this isn't. It's just a very gentle, comforting and calming scent. I've actually been opting for bubble baths using Moonlit Skies with some Epsom Salts over a bath bomb bath recently because I feel like it relaxes me more and obviously it's cheaper too! The Cotton Clouds hand wash and shower gel is the same scent as well if you don't have a bath but want to see what it smells like.
