I know, I know, I’m talking about Spring when it’s still only February but I’m just so over winter now. I’m not usually that bothered about winter really, my least favourite season is actually summer because I just don’t like hot weather as it doesn’t agree with me but this winter has been really getting to me and I just want it to be spring now. So I thought I would share some cosy spring homeware I’ve spotted whilst window shopping online that I think would be great to pick up to help add some cosy vibes into your home.

When it comes to our homes, safety is a top priority, especially when there are kids and pets involved. One potential hazard that often goes overlooked is uncovered radiators. These heating elements can pose risks, especially to curious little ones and mischievous furry friends.

I thought I would put together some gift ideas for anyone who might be stuck on what to add to your Christmas wishlist this year. I'm also putting together a Christmas gift guide which will include some main gifts and stocking filler ideas along with some mini reviews as well. The gifts that I’ve included in this post are mostly things that I’ve come across that I think would make lovely gifts as well as a few things that are on my own Christmas wishlist.

You may have noticed that Autumn homeware (along with Halloween and dare I say, Christmas?) has been creeping into stores over the past few weeks. I personally can’t wait for Autumn to arrive, I love the inbetween seasons of Spring and Autumn and I’m really not a big fan of Summer so seeing all the cosy homeware arrive in stores has made me excited that we’ve finally reached the months that end in ‘ber’. So because I’m going to be making my home look and feel extra cosy for the upcoming colder seasons I thought I would share 9 homeware pieces that I’ve come across that I think look really cute and cosy and perfect for Autumn.

If you’re a regular reader of my blog then I’m sure by now you’re aware that I like putting together a wishlist post but I thought that I would do something a little different this week and do an Etsy Wishlist. I try and shop at Etsy fairly often whether it’s for myself or if I’m looking for a gift for someone as I find that you can get quite unique things on there and it’s obviously important to try and support small businesses where possible too. So in today’s post, I want to share what’s currently on my ‘Etsy Wishlist’ as there are a couple of things that are gift ideas but most are things that I like the look of for myself and my home.

I'm back again with another wishlist and as always, I've put together a list of different things from beauty, fashion, homeware and even a few fitness and health-related things as I'm planning to go on a bit of a health kick which I'll talk more about later in the post.

I thought I'd share with you an updated home wishlist because I really enjoy doing these kinds of posts because I'm always online window shopping. I thought I'd also pop in a few small home improvements we're planning on doing soon into this post too, just to change it up a little. So I hope you enjoy reading this post and I hope it gives you some inspiration if you're planning on buying some new decor or doing some home improvements soon!

I've currently got a bit of a homeware browsing bug and I don't think it's going to stop anytime soon. Since I painted my room before Christmas, I've bought some new bits and pieces for both my bedroom and around the house and I've also been scrolling through a lot of websites eyeing up homeware I really like the look of. However, January is a very quiet month in terms of blog work and I also have had a couple of unexpected things to payout since the beginning of the month (ugh) so it's safe to say my bank balance is looking pretty sad right now. So I thought I'd just do a homeware and home revamp wishlist of things I really like the look of right now and also talk about a few things that I want to revamp in the house.

A Summer Homeware Wishlist

in , , , , by Kirsty Milward, 29.5.19
I haven't done a homeware wishlist in ages so I thought it was about time I change that. I really like buying new bits and pieces for the house around this time of the year and adding in more pops of colour for the summer. I've been looking at things mainly online but a lot of these should be in store too.

Matalan Smiling Face Potted Plant £8 / Next Rose Gold Hexagon Shelf £40 / Next Knitted Pom Pom Throw £40 / New Look Self Love Club Slogan Mug £5.99

I'm obsessed with the cute smiling face potted plant from Matalan (it's not real btw) it's so cute and I think it would look nice in my room either on my bookcase or on my bedside table. I don't like having real plants in my room because I worry that my cats will either knock them over and I'll end up with soil everywhere or they'll try to eat them. I'm planning on popping in Matalan at some point in the next few weeks so I'm hoping I manage to get my hands on one. They also have different colours and different plant options too. I'm really into the hexagon shelves that everyone seems to have these days. I think you can definitely make a feature out of them which is why I added the Next one I came across to my list. I'd probably add some plants to the shelf as well as a cute print and maybe a small battery operated light just to make it look cosy.

I also came across the cute Next Knitted Mustard Pom Pom Throw from Next. I know this is supposed to be a summer homeware wishlist but I find some evenings it can get a little chilly especially when it's been really hot all day. So I thought the mustard throw would be a nice addition to have in the living room and it'd also go well with our teal feature wall.

How cute is the Self Love Club Slogan Mug from New Look?! I definitely don't need any new mugs but I do think it's adorable. It'd also make a nice little gift for someone too.

Matalan Watercolour Floral Cushion £10 / Next Set of 2 Wicker Effect Baskets £26 / Sass & Belle Gold Honeycomb Bee Trinket Dish £13 / Matalan Fragrance Candle Set £6

I'm also really liking the look of the Watercolour Floral Cushions from Matalan. They're pretty but not too in your face and they'd fit in well with our colour scheme in the living room. I'm really struggling with storage for my blankets and bedding right now because literally every spare space in my bedroom is filled to the brim which is why I'm planning on buying some new storage baskets or boxes to store things away and the Next set of 2 Wicker Effect Baskets I came across are definitely in the running. I really want to buy the adorable Bee Trinket Dish from Sass & Belle! I definitely don't need anymore trinket dishes as I literally have at least 10 right now but I think it looks nice and it also looks a lot more expensive than it really is. Although I'm more of a wax melt user in the summer as I find they don't give off as much heat and also because I like using candles when it's cooler because of the cosy vibes they give I think the Matalan Fragrance Candle Set is a bargain for £6. I find Matalan candles always give off a lot of scent without being overbearing and they also look presentable too.

Asda George Pink and Grey Geometric Duvet Set from £10  / New Look 2 Pack Multicoloured Ombre Tumbler Glasses £6.99 / Matalan Floral Arrangement in Glass Vase £10 / New Look Pink Neon You Glow Girl Candle £3.99

I'm pretty sure I have a bit of an obsession with buying duvet sets (hence why I'm having storage issues) but I really like the look of the Pink and Grey Geometric Duvet Set from Asda George. The majority of my duvet sets are from Asda and I find that they wash and dry well and they're super affordable. New Look have some gorgeous Ombre Tumbler Glasses in right now, I know they're not everyone's cup of tea but I think they are a nice addition for the summer just to change things up a little. I also came across some gorgeous floral arrangements on Matalan so I thought I'd share my fave one in my wishlist. I can't believe it's only £10 and from the photo I think it does look pretty realistic too.

Lastly is a little motivational candle from New Look which I thought would be a great addition to a room to add a pop of colour with it being neon pink. There was also some other slogan candles available too.
